Thought I'd share this. Purchased one literally on Tuesday on Amazon AU for $339.99.
Mobvoi AU website showing $279.99.

Compared to my Fossil Gen 5:
This watch has lasted me 4 days.
Tuesday 1PM off charger and now on charge Saturday 10AM, with 10% to spare.
Very lightweight compared to the Fossil Gen 5.
Very fast and responsive touch screen. Literally no lag, though my FG5 never lagged much. It's like almost going from 60Hz to 144Hz screen.
Screen is brighter in the sun (whatever sun Melbourne has had over the last few days).
The dual screen is a god send for me, as I require to know the time every few minutes with my job for notations.
Vibration isn't as good a the FG5.

Doesnt feel as good as the metal build of a Fossil, but definitely looks the part.
Still no Wear OS 3.

It is loaded up with Mobvoi's fitness software, with some sneaky request to upload your personal fitness data to their server. Just be wary of that.

  How are these compared to Garmin? I am interested in buying the Garmin instinct Solar if they price is right. I nearly pulled the trigger for the Garmin instinct 1 without solar for $199 at JB Hi-Fi with the $200 perks, but couldn’t get over the point not having the newer version with Solar. I hope there are coming great deals on prime day!

    I can't live with 4 days battery life on a watch, but at least some of the new ones are getting better. Some of the ones with solar can rated to run perpetually now on normal mode which is good.

      Yes, I looked at the solar watches instinct 1 and 2. The price for the instinct 2 Solar scared me a bit away. I’d be happy to buy the instinct 1 Solar if the price comes down to something like $199. I was a bit disappointed seeing that JB had only the instinct with the perks for $199 and not the Solar version. Without the perks special code they both were offered for $399. They were happy to price match Amazon in the chat for $350 but not good enough I think. I need this for running and some features my coach uses on Vo2 and Strava are perfectly working with my training. I use a polar ignite 2 at the moment which does the job until the Garmin solar instinct watches are become reasonably priced.

  Can't comment on Garmin. But this is probably the best utility smart watch. Notifications are instant connected with my OnePlus 7t pro

  I have been using this for about 6 months now. I do shift work (10 hour shift) and usually lasted me three days without needing any charge. The second screen features is a very nice battery saver. No complaint so far but then again, I am not nitpicking.

  It's a 60hz screen while fossil gen 5 is 45hz.

  Sd4100 definitely makes a difference. I will upgrade when it's cheaper though, got my FG5 for 150 new
