This previously popular budget Android tablet is back on sale which is suitable for general use, light gaming and for the kids to use. Easily the best value tablet in this price range given the specs. You can grab the second bundle with an ultrathin case for US$107.12 (~A$155.83) too.

Featuring stock Android 11 with Google Play, 10.4" 2000x1200 IPS display, 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage (microSD support), UNISOC T610 Octa-Core CPU, 6000mAh battery, Dual SIM 4G LTE with B28, 5MP Front/Rear Camera, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual speakers and USB-C.

For reviews I recommend ETA Prime's video that shows it in action. The ROM performance is smooth, the display looks good and it handles modern and emulated games quite well for the price. The only real downsides in my opinion is the lack of Widevine L1 DRM for Amazon/Netflix HD and it won't get updates past Android 11.

Sadly it's an AliExpress coupon so the choice wasn't mine :(

  • Many thanks Clear!

I feel like the new tabs are coming out right before Singles Day which is why they've discounted this again but if all Chinese tabs are stuck on one android version then there's no point waiting anymore.

There doesn't seem to be any Android 12 or 12L on the horizon just yet. Alldocube have built their own fork of Android based around 11 in China for use with keyboards to offer a more desktop/iOS like experience, while Teclast are doing some refreshes of older models with MediaTek CPUs.

I'm hoping for some of the new Realme tablets or even the new Lenovo XiaoXin 2022 to have global ROMs soon.
