Bethesda is the joke now.
Jesus still 18 bux,
Triple dip
Patiently awaiting the Samsung smart fridge edition
That'll be after they release the Skyrim Ultra Legendary Edition, Special Special Edition, the Anniversary's Anniversary Edition and the Legendary Special Anniversary Edition
Never played an Elder Scroll game but I enjoy the genre… Worth a pickup?
The last thing similar I played was Witcher 3 and I found myself lost in terms of progression and eventually got bored of it. Is Skyrim kinda the same for single-player?
Definitely worth a pickup, it's not the same feel or gameplay at all as the Witcher series. Give it a go, maybe Elder Scrolls Oblivion and the Fallout series as well later down the track if you like the style of game.
I feel like Skyrim is a bit more straightforward with progression. Not really the same though. Both titles are amazing imo
Yes definitely worth if you even remotely like this theme of rpg. Bonus points if you start a no stealth, non archer and actually finish the game without becoming a stealth archer.
without becoming a stealth archer.
Especially if you're in the habit of picking through buckets…
That's statistically impossible I'm pretty sure.
At 2K resolution it's worth it just to wander round and look at the scenery.
myself lost in terms of progression
Your skill advancement isn't character type restricted, and you can play away once past the initial obligatory scenes/conversations and never go near the main story line again. You can theoretically advance to Level 100 by cooking meals…
I have Skyrim on my old Xbox One (which is basically a Blu Ray player now)… I feel I need this on PC - Should I wait for the next special edition or buy? :P
Buy, I would say; might as well at this price, not much cheaper anywhere else. Go for it! The modding scene on PC is a lot more extensive than on console, mods will easily add a few hundred or thousand hours of gameplay.
Give modding a try. My favourite mod so far has been Skyrim Together; letting me play with a bunch of friends for some good fun messing around in a fantasy world.
Bought this for almost the exact same price 6 years ago. Got Morrowind free with video card almost 20 years ago. Haven’t played either. It’s not looking promising.
Usual fear: I’ll be sucked into the monitor, and real life will leave me behind.
