Best price I've seen for the PLB in the last 6 months of looking. Usually retails around $380-400.
Part of the Friday to Saturday Autobarn 25% off deal. Unfortunately it only seems to be available at the Maryborough store in Qld as click and collect or in-store. While the website says delivery is available, it won't let you select delivery (Maryborough or otherwise) from the cart.

Cost of battery replacement on PLBs is prohibitive, so look for a model with long battery life. I would have recommended the KTI model (10 years) over this GME (7 years). But KTI went out of business unfortunately. This one at least has a good weight, unlike the previous generation model.
KTI were really good. I've heard they got bought out, but haven't seen anything new in the market yet. Unfortunately all the others seem to be 7 years.
Yeah, got a KTI for just $250 when eBay had proper sale and discounted gift cards a few years ago (unlike nowaday all those fake eBay/eBay Plus sales). But sad to hear KTI has gone out of business, so not sure what will happen when my PLB is 10 years old and needing battery change? Will I still able to do that or do I have to throw it away and buy a different brand PLB?
