Gigabyte M32U 31.5inch 144Hz 4K UHD IPS Gaming Monitor $799 Delivered @ BPC Technoogy

220

Cheapest I've seen this monitor on here if I'm not mistaken. I've been looking for a 4K monitor around this price range.
My house is also possibly colder than it is outside so I'm not completely against their explosive technology.

  • I have 3x Dell S2721DGF's (27" 165hz) but can't help but be tempted by upgrading the middle one to 4K. Don't quite know if my shonky brain will allow having a different size monitor in the middle though! Damn good price though!

It will, no issue with using laptop screen and external monitor(s) concurrently.

      Buy, buy, buy… 🖥️🖥️🖥️

      • haha, I had two diff brand 27" a couple years back and the differing frames and stand drove my brain mad. There's something clearly amiss with me, but I think having this in the middle with 2x 27" on the side would at least be symmetrical and therefore…god damnit we've convinced me.

        • Haha it wouldn't take much to convince me to buy another one, only issue is I'd end up replacing all 3 with a 4K monitor.

          • @Jaza969: My first reaction to this is nahhhh I’d be all good with just one, the left and right one are just for multitasking, rarely to play games. But I also know if we check back in a year I’d probably have upgraded them all like a dope

    • Either keep your head dead straight or tell the other two to FKoff

      Or buy one of these,..

Well Gigabyte have bunch of products, so one (or some) exploded doesn't mean others are the same too. Also if they price this monitor 2 months earlier then I would choose this instead of the Dell G3223Q, KVM is king.

  • Thanks, Does anyone know of a cheaper 31.5 inch 4k 60hz? This one then another 60hz side by side

  • FYI this monitor shares the same panel as the AORUS FI32U 4K 144Hz and cheaper too. I ended up getting the AORUS FI27Q-X for the 240Hz refresh rate. There are a few 4K 240hz monitors coming soon, though.

Nice, seriously considering sending the Dell Ultrasharp 32" back and getting this one.

    • Why is that? Not liking it? Dells one is better on paper at least and seems like one of the best iOS’ out there?

I bought the Dell then they tell me no stock for another 3 months. I already waited 2 months for their XPS PC so just dont want to spend 5 months getting a complete system off them.

Thanks OP!! bit the bullet was tossing between this or Dell G3223Q …

No worries! I usually go Dell's but for my eyes this time I preferred the gigabyte. Also I'm sure the KVM switch will be useful to a few people.

      • True.. & USB-C .. this can be useful too… not sure if this can be used for display?

        • +1

Yep it does display over USB C but limited PD. It can power my Lenovo but not my other laptops.

          • @Chickfilo: Nice to know.. Thanks :-)

          • @Chickfilo: can you recommend a good 2-3m type-c cable for display?.. thanks

            • @WhyMe20: The monitor came with its own USB C cable (~1m) so I didn’t need to get a new one

              • @Chickfilo: Hmmm.. They only included HDMI, DP, USB-B & Power cable …no USB-C :-( …

What are the odds these will come down to the $650 mark? I would love one at the $650 mark price.

    • Well until Gigabyte release a newer version of this monitor maybe. Don't think it will drop 150$ soon after just dropping 100$. The lower the price, the smaller the adjustments

  • That's a good price for a 144hz 4k monitor - tempting!
