Logitech M705 Marathon Mouse $37.99 + $16 Delivery ($53.99 Total) @ Tech Inn

30

My Marathon mouse finally started playing up so needed a replacement, this was the best price i could find, Officeworks at $69 priced matched so I got it for $51.28 with the extra 5% off.

Batteries last for at least a year, probably more like 2 years and I use it for work nearly every day. Not a gaming mouse, comfortable for work though. Comes with the Unifying Receiver as well.

Good price, but delivery kills it. Personally, if I'm paying that, may as well get: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/logitech-m720-triathlon-m…

Probably just about the same size, but the triathlon has bluetooth capable of pairing with 3 devices.

    • ah feck, i thought there might be a replacement but didn't find that one. I probably would have got that, although it is a bit bigger and slightly different shape by the looks of it. Thanks for sharing, that might be a good alternative and only a single AA vs the 2 x AA in the 705. I'll console myself that my hand is already used to the M705 ;)

M720 $54 and free delivery https://www.pcbyte.com.au/p/logitech-m720-triathlon-multi-co… it's $89 at officeworks so price match.

        $54 with shipping! That's a bargain.

I actually got mine a couple of years ago for $44 at Officeworks which even the sales guy had a double take and said "wow, that's a great price".

    • Still had 1 day left on my $10 perks voucher so I used it on this!

      Thanks!

I have an old wired version of this mouse (looks very similar) and it is light-weighted and very comfortable, much better than my MX master 3.

    • can't really beat an MX master. I've got a 2S when home, the triathlon's when I'm in the office. It's good, but the "flick" feature on the mx master where it unlocks the scroll wheel to go free spin should be on every mouse.

  • I bought this mouse I think 6-7 years old, it's the OG of long-lasting wireless mouse. It is still using the old logo, it's heavy and there's no multi-channel capability. I think the newer Triathlon would be a better choice of course you can argue it's not as ergonomic as this version.
