Does anyone know how warranty works with purchase on eBay rather than JB etc ?
Correct me if I’m wrong but they would send an LG tech out to your house with both stores.
I think their question is, who's "they" as in who would send the LG tech? Would you contact LG directly? Or just pray that the ebay seller responds to their messages?
@DiscountForThee: Either LG or eBay seller for the first year.. I would just buy it from JB in terms if any issues or problems after the first year of manufactures warranty JB are really good these days

As someone who has bought both, Given the quality of the audio on the Sony, I'd go for that.
People spending close to two grand on a tv and using the speakers as a selling point 🙄
Not speakers, rather settings quality, and why not?
There are other reasons to go with the Sony - better OS and better factory calibration being two of the main ones. Whereas LG has a better refresh rate. Maybe speakers is the decider for some people.
If you want the better sound go with the Sony A80J 55inch OLED for $1995/- at Harvey Norman or with free delivery from the Sony online store

Late last night on Bing Lee ebay, 65 LG C1 was $2820 pick up. Procrastinated for 30 mins and then it reverted back to $3495.
