What is the Indie Dev Grant?
The Indie Dev Grant is a grant designed to help indie game developers. For every 15,000 bundles sold, $2000 are added to the grant. One indie developer voted by the esteemed fans of Bundle in a Box will get the grant at the end of the bundle.
No strings will be attached by either Bundle in a Box or Kyttaro Games. The grant can be used in any way the developer that earns it sees fit. The developer will in no way be obliged to co-operate with Kyttaro Games or Bundle in a Box.
Why does the minimum price keep dropping?
As more people buy the bundle, the already unbelievably low (if we may say so ourselves) minimum price for the bundle falls; all the way to the (so low it’s silly) price of $0.99. Just so you know, every 500 sales will drop the price for $0.05.
How do I know whether a game is available on Steam, Desura and/or as a DRM-free download?
Bundle in a Box tries to offer you as many versions of a game as possible and always the option to download DRM-free copies of all the games on offer. Those games that are also available on Steam, Desura or any other service, will also come with the appropriate activation codes/keys.
Looking under each game on the Bundle in a Box homepage, you’ll notice there are icons telling you exactly what platform each game is available on. Just hover your mouse pointer over the icons…
If a game is available (just to give an example) as a DRM-free download, on Steam and on Desura, it will be accompanied by three icons; hovering over the first will let you know of the download version, over the second of the Steam version and over the third of the Desura version.
If a game in the bundle is available on more than one services, will I get all versions mentioned on the bundle homepage when I buy the bundle?
Yes!
Charity
The organizers are supporting the Greek charity, Perivolaki – The Hellenic Centre for Mental Health and Treatment of Child and Family, which the organizers hold close to their hearts.
Not worth it IMO. Those games have already been released in the other bundles.
