Simple Google search for this model lists a bunch of websites with this price point.
On the Pioneer website itself the RRP is $700 lol.
Who cares how much other shops are asking for. The official price is $700. $849 is nothing but misleading
I think you misunderstood crispys response. Other retailers offering the same price (aka discounted price)

Misleading as the photo advertised is for Z6350 but the product being sold is Z5350.

bought this for $450 in 2019 from either a repco or supercheap auto
This unit was $480 back in 2020 when I bought it and also came with that same free camera. I took one look at it and didn't like how bulky it was, with that awful hinge so installed this type instead - looks nicer and same quality and only $20:

Why anyone would pay an RRP of $700 in 2022 when they were under $500 in 2020 beats me??!
Don't get me wrong, I love this Pioneer unit (IMO better than Sony), just not the pricing.
