  Nothing too extraordinary from what I can see…prices actually seem a bit worse than the usual Lenovo sales. Then again maybe the code can be applied to all Thinkpads from 5pm onward and we'll see some decent savings?

  Also note that new Ivy Bridge 2012 Thinkpad models have already been announced and should be available in the not too distant future, so you probably should hold out for those.

  Hold off for Ivy Bridge.
  Every manufacturer will try to dump stock of Sandy Bridge now or they might never get rid of them.

  It's interesting that X series prices (allowing for coupons etc) seem to be trending up in the last few months. I thought they'd be going down with new technology and models on the way.
