Yep, have the Surface Pro 8 and it comes with Home. Also forced Microsoft account to set up (unless you look up how to get around it). And Win 11.
My surface pro 6 only had home on it.
I had Surface Pro 3's and they both came with Windows Pro
It became more domesticated over time.

8 has thunderbolt
7 plus has microSD slot
On 7+ the ssd can be upgraded by yourself.
Not sure about 8.The ssd in the 8 can be user upgraded. It’s a hassle to find a drive at a decent price.
