  • can someone confirm if this is swiss quartz?

  • Can't you get an automatic for around $300 from Timex??

That's a lot of money for a quartz watch with an acrylic crystal & only 50M.

    As a comparison - Seiko Auto SRPD65K2, 100M & hardlex crystal $259 delivered.

  • Batman from the link supplied is no longer available….

  • I get the that the design is somewhat unique and that specs don’t tell the whole story - but that is expensive for what you get.

For a similar, better specced automatic watch you can consider the Seizenn G Series Master Retro.

Bought this since chicks can’t tell the difference between this and a Rolex

For a cheap and good looking Submariner homage, just get a $79 Invicta Pro Diver from Amazon. Great looking watch, and stupid good value for the money.

The new one is much better than the old one.
Would I buy one, probably not. I prefer the Tissot PRX in that style, the quartz is great value, or was when it was around half the price of the auto.

I wouldn't mind a Cronos Pepsi, the best homage around apparently, pretty expensive at around A$500 though, you'd want to get it on a super sale at Aliexpress.

Not sure why the quartz hate ….love my ecodrives and normal quartz go for about 3 years on a battery and very accurate ….I don't wear same watch daily so setting time on stopped autos is a nuisance …..wear my quartz Seamaster more than the auto and wear titanium ecodrives most ….

    • Which comment is hating on quartz? They are great for the right price.

I posted a quartz Timex field watch here for $39 delivered, bargain!

    • Exactly, good to have a couple in the collection so you can at least grab one without having to set the time.. G-Shocks included!
