Physical will be available for $54 from JB on 29 July for those interested. Nothing listed as yet at Amazon. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/nintendo-switch-teenage-m…

wow nice. this means we could wait for this to drop in price rather than buy it overpriced from Limited Run.

EDIT: although it does look like it MIGHT not be manufactured by Limited Run, so I guess LRG collectors would still have to buy from LRG. that's not me though I just want a physical copy :D

  • So cheap!

    • +4

I prefer digital but let's not get too excited lol, this is the way pricing should be. With retail though you can of course resell if the game turns out to be crap, you can also let friends or family borrow it.

      • -4

I can share my digital games simultaneously on 2 consoles. You can't do that physically. I've even bought my best man a PS4 pro and added my huge library while I keep my digital library on PS5 as well. That's huge.

Anytime anything digital only is posted here, flogs go outta their way to shit over the deal rather than just ignore.

        • -2

LMAO, neg me all you want, your tears are all delicious

    • I don't know if anti-digital exist? Is this a thing?

But if every digital game was significantly cheaper (like when they were touting the Xbox One to have the game tied to the console) I'd probably go that way, but I've hardly seen it like this. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spots.

So when I know I'm not wanting to keep a game forever, I'll buy the case, so then I can trade/sell when I'm done, or even lend it out to someone.

Post a Series S deal, see what happens…

    • bonus gold coins come with physical purchases too (within a year of game release). And if you don't want to keep in your collection just trade it in.

    • As a preference, I would prefer physical.

I have learned the hard way that with digital, the licence goes to the user profile NOT to the machine.

That means when I last bought sword and shield and I applied it to my profile, my son couldnt play the game using his profile.

This wont happen if you have physical copy.

The same goes with DLC, it is hooked against the user profile so if my son wants to play Isle of Armor, he couldnt play the DLC because it was applied to my user profile.

      • +1

If you're son was playing on your primary console he would be able to play.

      • +1

As above, you are doing it wrong.

Primary console can share digital games on all 3 platforms
