Surfshark VPN: 97% Cashback for New Customers Only @ Cashrewards

131

Enjoy :)

Cashback is eligible for new Surfshark customers only.

Cashback may be ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards.

Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will not include any GST, taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.

The amount that tracks to your Cashrewards account may differ to the paid amount due to international exchange rates. Your initial payment is converted to USD, then converted back to AUD when reported to us. The advertised cashback rate is based on the reported amount, not the paid amount. Cashrewards has no control over this process.

Thanks to TA for this below information

A new customer is defined by Surfshark, and nothing to do with your Cashrewards account. Simply use a new email address at their end, the same Cashrewards account as always, and you're good to go.

Click 'Shop Now' or 'Shop Offer' and buy - don't click to other sites looking for codes etc and certainly don't use any 3rd party plugins. Best to use the Cashrewards mobile app on 4G/5G as this also eliminates any potential issues with WiFi/router firewalls and the like. Tracking for Surfshark typically takes 1-4 hours.

And finally please remember you have the safety net of Surfshark 30-day money back guarantee should tracking fail. All the best :)

  • $78.96 - 97% = $2.37 for 2 years VPN + antivirus (wouldn't entrust my data in it)

Your date is sold absolutely by every single place you've ever logged in, allowed cookies and accepted term and conditions without reading. I'm pretty sure you're nothing special and secretive so your date would matter much besides being used as another free surveyed, profiled number.

      • I was just commenting on the antivirus, seeing as it is just a bundled in offer from a sketchy VPN company. I believe that when you go to a VPN company, you only should get a VPN, and vice versa. Couldn't imagine it being much good for costing next to nothing.

Say what? You pay for your dates?

Get yourself a real vpn service like mullvad, ivpn or oeck.

What you pay to surfshark, doesn't pay for server rental or bandwidth. In other words you are the product.

    • Which is the case for countless apps and services capturing and monetizing your information. Know it, accept it, or don't. VPNs like this are perfectly fine for a multitude of use cases.

Been meaning to check out Mullvad, the cash payment option is pretty sweet for anonymity. I like the no email sign up/info and purely get assigned an account number.

    • How exactly do they monetise the customer as the product?

What makes mullvad, ivpn, or oeck different to this or NordVPN?

  • This service does not provide customers with a cancellation option. You either need to have your credit card/paypal block recurring payments or contact their customer service and have it cancelled manually.

  • Good for security? Nah not really
Good for region hopping to get deals? Sure

  • I use Surfshark to be a pirate.

I signed up to this last month on a similar deal and haven’t had any issues so far.

Speed does seem a bit slower than PIA that I used to have. Tried a few different protocols in the app but doesn’t seem to make much difference. Max down speed usually 3-4 MB/s

  • Surfshark vs NordVPN?

Are there any better high-spee, high-security VPNs out there? Everyone seems to have random opinions on dozens of companies but it seems nearly impossible to get any hard objective data.
