  • just what i was looking for got some off amazon before.

which type of printer is recommended for best results?

    • Hi Strat,

Thank you for your question regarding recommended printers.

In terms of printers, our vinyl products are designed to work with almost any inkjet and laser home printer. We highly recommend using an INKJET printer and to set the print MEDIA-TYPE to any of the following settings (depending on the surface finish):

      • Matte
      • Glossy
      • Photo Paper

The print and cut settings for each specific product can be found on each product page by scrolling down to the 'Print & Cut Settings' tab.

We also have sample packs available which contain all our main vinyl and paper-based products. This will allow you to test and experience our vinyl products for yourself on your current printer.

Thank you and please let us know if you have any other questions.

      Kind regards,
      Avarrix Customer Service

  • thanks for getting back to me.. We received these today via amazon and tried a test print with my canon inkjet printer but the ink rubs off!

Using genuine ink with the printer.

    Any other tips?

I will check the settings and set to gloss on another test print tomorrow.

  • update: setting it to gloss seems to have fixed it.

    • Hi Strat,

      Thank you for your reply.

We are happy to hear that changing the print media type to 'Glossy' has resolved your issue. The media type you select significantly impacts how smudge-resistant your print work is.

Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

      Thank you.

      Kind regards,
      Avarrix Customer Service
