    • Cheaper by $1 per 4 if you get 8 pack.

Unless you live very close to IKEA it'll work out cheaper on Amazon.

$5 click and collect from IKEA too.

  • We could see cheaper on amazon prime day

    • Like $30?

      • $17.50

        • What about 8pk

    • When is Prime Day usually?

Some how I've been using OzB for maybe 6 years and yet am not an owner of Eneloops. How is that possible.

For the uninitiated, what charger do I need to pick up for these?

    • +1

I used the LiitoKala Lii-402 charger for both my eneloops, laddas and even 18650 cells. I usually leave mine on the slowest charging option of about 500mah (3-4 hours) but if in a bit of a hurry go up to 750mah (2 hours)

The description says the pro is good for high drain devices. Are there any advantages or disadvantages of getting the pros vs the normal eneloops?

    • From previous comments I've seen around the internet, which may or may not be reliable: the long term capacity may decrease more and/or faster than the non-pros.

I use pros for high-drain and regular ones in lower-drain devices. No issues yet.

  • would be mindful of the pro as they are seem to be slight thicker than standard eneloops/AA's so might have problems with tolerance and fit in certain devices.

  • I am going to ask the dumb question here… why would you get a subscription of rechargable batteries, wouldn't that be counter productive

    • +1

People use S&S as they're going through checkout, then cancel the subscribe and keep the savings. Defer to your own moral compass if you do that or not.

      • +1

Also note that one of the reasons for cancelling the S&S is 'I wanted the initial discount'

      • Oh its what I would do, its just a strange product to subscribe to when the expected life expectancy is 12+ months

      • +2

Not sure moral compass is applicable when dealing with companies like Amazon

  • Is it just me that thinks it's ridiculous you can buy rechargeable batteries on a subscription? Isn't that encouraging people to throw them out?
