The game to forget? 😀 Any good?
About as good as a Skyrim mod can be. It'd be good for a 90s game, considered a classic if it were released 30 years ago.
Really enjoyed Forgotten City, and it's from Aussie devs *waves tiny flag*
It was my personal GOTY pick in 2021, which seemed to only get some brief lipservice at the award shows =(
Truly a great gameplay loop and story.I played it in Skyrim years ago, I'm sure the new one is great but I feel like I've played it already.
Fair enough. I wasn't a big fan of the ending, which I think wasn't part of the mod? So might be for the best
Good deals, but I’m trying to be more selective with the ps5
$15 each… give them a go! Both are solid.
I quite enjoyed The Forgotten City. It's not a long game though so don't expect 20 hours of gameplay, especially if you only do the main quest and don't repeat parts to see multiple endings.
Rift Breaker is quite a good game.
It looks awesome but hoping there's an option to turn off the stupid screen shake gimmick, is there?
The Riftbreaker seems to be positively reviewed. Mixture of twin-stick shooter and base builder/RTS.
Forgotten City turned out to be an impactful game to me. I've started to be more aware of the parallels in modern society, like how London, as we know it today, is literally and physically, built on top of parts of old London. You have tunnel networks, rooms and giant empty halls, just lying dormant underneath train networks and major buildings.
Here's an interesting video https://youtu.be/CSqHTxgcXiI on the development of Forgotten City for this interested
Yep but the two title games were never in that link
Didn't say it was..
Just making it easier for people to find the sale link mentioned by OP (you)Sorry I was just saying why I didn't put it in the link but thanks for sharing :).
Updated op to include this link
It's worth adding to this that the forgotten city was made locally in Australia.
It's probably a bit late saying this now (I deliberately purchased it day one at full price hoping to support the guys who developed this one) but if you can pick this one up and get your mates to pick it up.
Theres a long history behind this one as it started out as a mod and the fact these guys were able to bring it to market is amazing. I get it's not to everyone's taste but if you care about supporting the local industry grab one, grab two and give one to a mate.
I really hope we get to see more of what this studio has to offer as you can see from this game they've got great potential.
Void Bastards is also from Aussie devs, with a bunch of local references too! (eg. bushwhacker, Port Fairy, Toowoomba, etc.)
All good games.
Thanks Op. Got Riftbreaker (PS5) and Forgotten City (Xbox). Click and collect, with -$10 (perks) 👍🏼.
Both available on Game Pass if you have that on Xbox
support the devs!
Gamepass isn't owning the game either, you are renting it.
would recommend Nioh 2, pretty sure it gets a free upgrade to PS5. played that non-stop for almost a year!!!
I grabbed Void Bastards on Switch and The Forgotten City on PS4 with a ShopBack JB card.
Trade in at EB for more maybe?
Looks like watchdog legion included too. That any good?
Haven't played it but read constantly that it was mediocre
Does anyone know if Riftbreaker has the option to turn off the stupid annoying screen shake gimmick?
It's forgotten city not forbidden city. Thanks for the post.
