  DoorBird units look nice (I especially like the open API), but seem quite expensive for what they are.. particularly if they don't have person/vehicle detection

    It's a nonsense way companies imply better quality when I'm reality the Germans haven't been the benchmark for quality for decades.

    Made in Germany is a country of manufacture, not level of quality, but this trick will work on many consumers.

  This company is like the factory that used to make steam engines and refuses to come to grips with reality that they were replaced by electric and diesel locomotives !

  It's no longer an intercom guys stop pretending to be, likes of EUFY have door lock opening capability with a video door bell built in, and that's just one. They are far far cheaper too !

  Evolve or die guys, even your website is amateurish !

    This is an intercom. You can get a monitor, or desk phone, to work with it. It can also be used as a video doorbell.

    Some people want those things, especially as it uses POE and doesn't have to use WiFi.
