2000 people did the first one, only 600 did the one from yesterday. How many will do this one?

  • +7

    Still haven’t hit their KPIs?

    • +6

I’ve no idea haha but at least it’s an increase of $0.50 from yesterday :)

  • +3

Pass… thanks but no thanks shopback

  • +9

Some people will find this useful. 3% bonus is better than 0%.

If you are one of those folks already stocked up on plenty of discounted GCs, then this is a piss poor deal.

    • Where can you get 5% off ($3 bonus plus regular cashback) Amazon gift cards up to $100 without needing pay for an eligible health insurance plan?

Not worth the effort, unless you were already thinking of spending $100 on a gift card for a specific purchase

Few clicks to add it to your balance on Amazon towards a future purchase isn't really much effort

  • +2

Their marketing team must be engaging in industrial action against less than inflation pay rise.

5 same deals day after day, not only attracted dozens of neg vote, but still failed to reach their KPIs. Oops 🤭

This is just regular rates. I'm not going to up nor down vote.

  • This one isn't bad, plus stacks with existing % off, tyty

    • +3

Exactly, 5% off a $100 Amazon card is always welcome

      • +1

That, or 6% ebay is ok, to add to the stockpile

  • +1

    Thanks for the extra 50c

  • +2

Just commenting here due to ShopBack’s continued refusal of cash back whenever there’s a bonus deal and/or challenge. Works every time normally, but anything over $10 magically doesn’t track, either about a trillion to one coincidence or some dodgy behaviour. So yet another reminder to not buy anything you wouldn’t without the cash back.

    • +7

      Its just you

      • +1

i generally use their app and never had any issues, purchased even vpn deals in past.

    • Yep, a few of us in that boat now with the $40 eBay plus bonus cashback.

      • +1

I can confirm $40 didn't track for me either. :(

        Just reported missing Cashback

        • I reported 8 days ago.

          Haven't heard back.

  • -1

Why post the deal so late :o

    • +4

      You mean early

  • -6

Shopback are getting super desperate now… It's getting to the end of the month and they still haven't met their KPI's. Surely they know that the OZB community fuels most of those KPIs being met, but instead of making their cashback offer more enticing, they try to feed us more scraps - a whole 50c worth.

Shopback can (AGAIN) 🖕🏻 right off.

  • +2

I'll stock up with 5% off Coles any day with Suncorp GC at 3% gone and nothing much else around that I can access.

    • +5

This SB offer is 5% off too. The SB Super Swap Card has 2% cashback and you get bonus $3 on $100 GC, making this a total of 5% discount on $100 GC. Swap for Coles GC.

      • Great tip. I did this, but am only seeing denominations of $30 or less when I go to swap for Coles gift cards. Would rather 1 $100 gift card for convenience. Do they regularly add $100 denominations to Coles?

        • I’ve just checked, I see the same as you did, only up to $30. Maybe they have ran out of stock for higher value Coles GC.

I have always swapped for $100 Coles GC in the past. Maybe wait for them to restock.

          • @delfredo: Thanks for checking. Yep looks like I'll wait until they stock up $100 demolitions.

          • +1

@delfredo: Prezzee have just restocked the Coles gift card :)

        • +3

My understanding is that Coles Group is quite stingy with the number of Coles gift cards they'll allow to be sold on third-party gift card portals. For example, Reward Gateway enforces a limit of $300 per-member per week, and HCF Thank You enforces a limit of $520 per-member per week.

From what I've noticed within the last week, Prezzee releases a limited number of Coles gift cards every 1-2 days. However, considering Prezzee cannot effectively enforce a per-person limit on the number or amount of Coles gift cards you can redeem/purchase through them each day, you'll sometimes find Prezzee will completely run out of Coles gift cards (or only have very low denominations available) and will need to wait until it is restocked.

For future reference, an alternative option is the Coles Groceries gift card. However, those gift cards cannot be used to purchase alcohol (which is a moot point, since Coles no longer sells alcohol within their stores themselves), tobacco, mobile SIM cards and gift cards. You'll get an Invalid Product Mix error if you try to do that, so that is something to be mindful of.

      • +1

        That's what I'm saying?

  • -3

Wow!!! 5 days in the roll almost the same deal with ShopBack gift card. Why ShopBack not give a challenge purchase any $100 gift card and receive $10 cashback or any $50 gifts card and receive $5 cashback. How difficult??? This one might have a chance to reach a customer opt-in and customer will certainly purchase their gift card. I opt-in all but only the first day of challenge completed and the rest with end result incomplete!!! No $10 cashback not worth the effort to spend the money. You can set up this kind of challenge everyday but no one will fall for this crap of challenge again!!! This is not a deal!!! I’ll pass.

    • Of course a poor deal as I scored a 20%+ discount last month. If your expense is only $100 (where SB Super Swap can cover) in a month, it may work for you but not the majority.

  • +2

Lol, why so salty 🤣 deals a deal yeah 🤷🏾‍♂️ Sure $3 aint a lot, but that's ontop of their cash back.
So yeah, some of they gift card cash back rates aint great… but when you ad this $3 (or 3%) I believe it makes it worth it for some? 🤔 (correct me if the math aint exact).

I dunno, I'll prob get negged for this. But feel like ppl yelling for a way higher discount, lol. Or maybe ppl don't get how businesses work 😕 maybe I don't 😅 just feels wierd to me to ask for hand outs.

Even if they've done a certain deal before, what's the prob with doing it again?
Even if they've done a certain deal in the past, doesn't mean they'll be able to do it more frequently or even ever again due to a number of circumstances changing.

    • +2

I agree with you, not sure why people are getting so upset and entitled over it 🫤. The ones like the $5 off $200 bonus I just scrolled on by and didn’t give it a second thought. It’s not like there’s not going to be any decent bonuses in the future.

    • +1

True but $5 extra for a $100 card would be much more incentive. $3 is better than nothing, but only barely worth the effort for most.

      • +2

I mean there has to be something extra offered for gift cards otherwise it makes no sense to buy them unless you are going to use as an actual gift.

I sometimes have gift cards for over a year before I even use it, meaning the cashback needs to at least be equal to inflation otherwise I'd be better off just paying with cash rather than very slightly discounted gift cards

        • +2

Some of my oldest gift cards are already behind inflation :(

          • +1

@Fobsessive: Yup me too. And that doesn't even account for people who don't end up using their gift cards before they expire :(

  • +2

Thanks OP due to do 1 of my coles 4 week shops and didnt have a discounted gift card to use

  • +1

$3 is not worth the saving unless I have something specific to buy, TBH I always worry when I buy a gift card that it will expire and lose money, which has definitely happened in the past. Store owners know this and internally value these at 85-90% of their value because of this.

    • Amazon is the solution here - lasts 10 years and easy to spend on almost anything (including s&s if you tell it to)

  • +1

Amazing what 50c does to a gift card deal.
Before it would have been 4.5% cashback on some 2% gift cards and attracted a dozen negs.

But now it is a round 5% and gets only positive votes.
Shopback has now found their minimum bonus

  • I mean it’s $5 off $100 Coles gift card. Worth for me. Now can we get some more $100 Coles denominations please SB?

    • I think it will be restocked sometime on Monday. It is up to Prezzee, not SB. No $30+ denomination atm.

If you cant wait for it, try this. It seems to be removed, though.

    • +2

I can see both Coles gift cards have denominations above $100, looks like Prezzee have restocked
      Coles gift card: $5-$500
      Coles Groceries gift card: $10-$200

      • It's easier to use hiver 5% at coles compared to trying to scan a coles gift card. It's hit and miss sometimes.

  • Comes to 5% off shopback super swap card, or 7% after my CDC cashback card 🥰

    • +1

      What’s a CDC cashback card?

      • crypto.com visa card. cashback rates slashed next month

  • Sorry I will still pass it after last 2 days promotions.

  • +3

Just $0.50 better than before, and no single negative. Unbelievable what 50 cents can do.

  • +4

The mob have spoken. We taught shopback not to post a deal less than 5%. Great work team.

    • +5

      lol.

      • +4

Reading Ozb forums about Shopback and Cashrewards is giving me the feeling both systems are creating an attitude of gimme gimme gimme, entitlement for the younger generations. That being said when I'm lured into a purchase via these 2 I do want to see them honoured.

        • Ruthless and rapacious are two adjectives that come to mind when I think about… myself

  • Dam, I've already purchased 600 in gift cards with these daily Deals

    • Have you used any?

      • +1

I use them all the time. I'll use these to buy a garden shed from bunnings.

Just built a new house so these gift cards always get used.

  • +2

Challenge isnt the same, theres a new one. Same numbers, etc but if you bought yesterdays, you can get another bonus today.

    • This. I was about to post it then came here.

    • Sorry I meant by it’s a new challenge with the same details from yesterday

      I’ll fix the description up

      • +2

If you dont post another deal, the visibility of the deal is minimal. You should have just posted it again with some sarcastic comments about how they're so innovative with their deals.

        • I was thinking about it earlier but the mods may flag it as a dupe and they’ll just edit and unexpire this deal anyway

          • +1

@BargainsGrabber: Wouldn't be a dupe, today's was a new deal. @ATangk is right, many people wouldn't have seen/known about it. I was wondering why it wasn't posted until I searched for ShopBack just then and saw the edit.
