Bought this the other week. It’s nothing special but fine if your looking for a party game to add to Mario party.
If it came with baseball and golf it would probably change my mind. I feel it would be worth $35 tops without those two modes

They're adding golf in as a free DLC. Not sure about baseball but sure they're open to adding more but maybe at a cost

      • “Free DLC “ lol

More like they forgot to include it

I hate when Nintendo does this . Later on when the E shop closes like the Wii U and 3DS you won’t be able to download this DLC again.

I don't think they forgot to include it, I think it wasn't ready in time.

when the E shop closes like the Wii U and 3DS you won’t be able to download this DLC again.

          That appears to be incorrect.

As of late March 2023, it will no longer be possible to make purchases in Nintendo eShop for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS family of systems. It will also no longer be possible to download free content, including game demos….. Even after late March 2023 and for the foreseeable future, it will still be possible to redownload games and DLC, receive software updates and enjoy online play on Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.

    • How good would Switch Sports cricket be…

  • I got it in the HN intro deal - overall a pretty average game….tennis and bowling feels like wii sports (from memory). Swordfighting, soccer both underwhelming, badminton is OK - easy to get long rallies which appeases the kids - volleyball a bit more variety but lacks the realistic inputs of tennis/badminton/bowling.

I guess it's just the lack of novelty compared to switch that's probably the issue as the game looks/feels very similar to me.

If you're looking for four player party, I think Mario Party (despite the usual dicking around between games) is much more fun than this.

  • I also got this a few weeks back, the online functionality is far from polished - random errors like "can't to connect other consoles" or stuck at the point where it shows all bowlers finishing before the cut to the next frame in bowling. We do plenty of gaming on PCs here with no issues, so definitely problems at Nintendo's end.
