Sega Mania Issue 4_V2.pdf (183 MB), if anyone is interest in the size of the PDF.

    • lol, I linked this to a Sega fan friend on Twitter, And the @SegaMania account somehow found it and admonished me for sharing the link.

For something they're offering for free.

EDIT: And now they've nuked the link here too. What are they playing at?

    Sega does what Nintendon't

  • O'Doyle: Mortal Kombat for the Sega Genesis is the best game ever made.

Billy Madison: I disagree. It's a very good game, but I think Donkey Kong is better.

Nice. It looks like I'll be coming home to read this like it was 1993 again. Cheers.

i absolutely loved the cover art of mms! it was so bold and colourful, magazines were a different breed back then!

        • sure was, the covers and magazines was a triumph of design and art.
I recall some of them came with trading cards inside a glossy foil pack, every section was so well illustrated .. each contributor to an article even had their own custom avatar depending on the game. They had reader art submissions, Mean Yob, and classic British wit and humour!

@payton: yup.. it was a rip off of ZZap!64 from some years earlier.
