Got this in my flybuys app. To qualify for 6,000 Flybuys bonus points you must click "Sign up now" on the Flybuys app offer to be taken to the Coles Plus sign up page, sign up to Coles Plus within the promotional period and have your Flybuys card number linked to your Coles Plus account. Do not sign up via OzBargain's Go to Deal link.

Targeted and can be used with free month trial as per t&c below.

I think it can be combined with this targeted offer for better value.

Here is what the offer says:

    Today I completed a $140 shop for 5400pts…. I wouldn't wanna miss out on those sorta things.

  • Coles Plus is ridiculously expensive compared to every other retail membership program. There is no option to pay annually to lower the cost. They also charge bag fees even if you are a member unlike Woolies.

    Just coming off a 3 month free membership promotion (and $10 in credit per month) which was a token for the stock issues. That was on the back of the free trial haha.

    Wondering if I sign up and then cancel before end of free trial, if still get the 6k points.
    Stack thys with the 10k 4x$50 spend and 4k online shopx4, with the remaining 3 online shop orders left to place.

    • That's what I am doing, cancelling before trial to get the 6k points and also doing the weekly spend offers on top. I can't see anything the terms that say you shouldn't get the points if you only stay for a month.

      • Thanks. I'll sign up in a couple days, so my last (third) shop is before end of trial period then cancel the trial after I collect the order.

          The terms only say you must join Coles Plus, it doesn't say you have to stay with it for longer than a month, you should be able to cancel anytime. If you cancel you still keep the benefits for the full month:

          By cancelling your Coles Plus subscription, after 21 June 2022 you will no longer have access to:

          Personally I will wait until a day or 2 prior before cancelling. I just noticed, that when you go to cancel, they will actually offer you this, which might be of interest:

          Keep your Coles Plus subscription and once your next payment has been successfully processed, you’ll get $19 off when you spend a minimum of $70 in one shop!

          That $19 basically negates the $19 cost for the next month and will also mean you will have Coles Plus active when the bonus points go through (7 weeks since first shop maximum):

          will appear in your account no later than 7 weeks after the eligible online Coles shops are completed.

          Less chance of any issues that way and having to chase it up, in case the system only looks at active subs when crediting the points.

            • @shahrah: I clicked the wrong button and accidentally cancelled the membership. After getting the $19 thing pop up, I checked to see what would happen if I clicked it again, then I clicked cancel (thinking it would go back, but cancel actually meant cancel the membership).

              Sorry to hear you haven't got it yet, I might have saved myself another headache by accidentally cancelling it.

                          @shahrah: I'm not saying it will work (but the way it's worded looks like it might be discounted on checkout).

                          Note that I've had a lot of issues with the Coles online website (even with Coles Plus, it sometimes shows me that I have to pay for delivery. After a few tries I opened the website on my phone, and there it did work.).
                          I also missed out on bonus points because they refunded >$15 from a $64 order, so I didn't meet the min. $50 spend (I couldn't be bothered calling them to fix it and just placed a liquor order..)

                          Coles also substituted my 2x 250g cheese with 1x 450g cheese (same brand), Coles thought it was ok because the 450g was more expensive than 2x 250g … I still miss my 50g !!

                          Anyway, please do let us know if that works. I'll be cancelling next week.

  • I signed up for this, and after 4 shops still don't have my bonus points ..
    2nd shop was already on 8 June, since beginning of last week I have completed a total of 4 online shops since signing up.

    Anybody got these points already, and how long after completing 2nd or 3rd shop?
    I also didn't get Double Flybuys points on my first shop (same day I signed up).

      Like you, I also didn't get double flybuy points on my first shop, but did thereafter. First shop delivered 22/5, second shop delivered 27/5.

  • After emailing to a slpw response/reply FlyBuys email address, I received this back today.
    The 10k points from 4x $50 shops, will be credited, but the 6000 points from this post?????

    "The bonus points have now been credited and they will appear on your account within 48 hours.
    After this time, it can be viewed by simply signing into your Flybuys account and scrolling down to the shop date under the “Transactions” tab via our website.

    They have all the spends listed on my FlyBuys account.

    • That's really disappointing. If you placed an order online, you can download the "invoice" of your order though.
      Go to https://shop.coles.com.au/ , login then click on orders (right hand side)
      Click on your order, then at the bottom you will see something like:

      Invoices
      Order invoice - xx July, xx:xxPM
      View invoice
      Order invoice from-xx July, xx:xxPM
      Download pdf

      I had one order that because of Coles not being able to supply, it went below my min spend for bonus points. So I quickly placed another order just to avoid potential discussions.

      I hope this can help you in getting your bonus points.
