  • Looking for a cheap wired pair for the quest 2 but this is USB only.

You could use an adapter if that would help?

        No.

        • Reasons for the vote downs? Pointing out how the advice is wrong, how dare I.

@PainToad: I didn't vote, but you pointed out that the advice was wrong. Not how it was wrong.

@PainToad: How have you been here for 14 years, yet still get upset when you get a downvote on a comment?

        • -1

I upvoted you for the sake of you are right. But I know for sure you got downvoted because you have no reason explained, cause those who have no clue think you are being negative.

Meta Quest 2 supported USB-C headphones and adapters

The following list of USB-C headphones and adapters have been tested and shown to work with Meta Quest 2

        USB-C headphones
        Pixel USB-C Earbuds
        Samsung Type-C Headphones
        OnePlus Type-C Bullets Earphones

        USB-C to 3.5 mm adapters
        Google USB-C to 3.5mm Adapter
        Samsung USB-C Headphone Jack Adapter
Apple USB-C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter

Bear in mind that other USB-C headphones and adapters may work with your Meta Quest 2, but we can't guarantee functionality for headphones or adapters that aren't in the list above.

      • May work with usb C to a adapted or a hub, though YMMV. Would recommend a Google search before attempting this.

Was hoping Amazon would price match it like they did with the Corsair mouse

    • I did search on JB Hi-Fi but they don't sell it. And if they did, you would be able to get it for free with the JB Hi-Fi perks voucher after price matching for $9.

  • Is this any good? I really don't know a lot about headphones.

    • Miles better than any other cheapo $9 headphones

    • Better off spending more on better ones.

      • How much more?

        • 25$ on a moondrop chu goes a long way, if you really are stingy about money.

          • @zjz93: $17 vs $25. That is $8 more.

Missing out on gaming feature and the red led too. M…

            • @Domicron: 17$ of shit sound, fit, and earpads that disintegrate in a month.

          • @zjz93: Sounds like a lolly.

            $22 with Prime BTW.

    • Audio is a lot like cars in that once you've tried a premium one it's hard to go back to a budget one.

Don't expect anything "good" at this price point.
But they would be acceptable as bare minimum budget headset.

  • oos

  • Got one.
    Thanx OP!
Reviews says it is a decent one, with an awesome mic.

  • Received this one yesterday. Average sound quality (like any "gaming" headset) but not so bad I swapped into my Fidelio X2HR's between games for some light music/YouTube.

The microphone is quite clear but picks up a lot of background ie mechanical keyboard when used straight without a noisegate.

Comfort is okay but not a highlight. Earcups are roomy and the material is cushy enough. The adjustment is a bit janky but acceptable in the sub $30 range.

Overall a decent budget headset. Fit for purpose but just remember what that purpose is.
