    Hey guys, and thanks for posting noren7. These tips will help :)

    A new customer is defined by NordVPN, and nothing to do with your Cashrewards account. Simply use a new email address at their end, the same Cashrewards account as always, and you're good to go.

    Click 'Shop Now' or 'Shop Offer' and buy - don't click to other sites looking for codes etc and certainly don't use any 3rd party plugins. Best to use the Cashrewards mobile app on 4G/5G as this also eliminates any potential issues with WiFi/router firewalls and the like. Tracking for NordVPN typically takes 1-4 hours.

      Yeah that is my suspicion as well!
      The next vpn I’ll go for is mullvad, which looks pretty secure and private but I’m not sure about the quality.

        I’ve had no issues whatsoever with Mullvad. It’s reliable and able to max my link out. It may be expensive, but they appear to take privacy seriously. This deal is too cheap - they have to be selling your data or something else.

      That's something I always doubt about. I know it's a good VPN but they're a business not a charity, so they must make money to at least pay for the servers and the bandwidth. Then where does these money come from?

    A noob here!!!

    I just wanted to know if this will work for getting other countries netflix library?? And also how to set it up with the router so that i can watch on the smart tv instead of laptop!!

      Basically:

      • Routers that natively support NordVPN
      • Routers that can run custom firmwares that support NordVPN
      • An old computer, install some versions of Linux, make it a router.
      • I have a xiaomi AIoT 3600. I’m not tech savvy but if someone can indicate if it supports nord I’ll pull the trigger!

      Yes, works for other country's Netflix libraries! Sometimes it can be patchy, but their engineers usually fix it up quick. If for some reason I can't get it to work, I always contact their support via website or Twitter and they quickly tell me which server I should connect to manually and I have no issues :D

      For the TV, what @browser said about the router is correct, unless it's an Android TV where you can get it from the Play Store. Personally, I use a Chromecast with Google TV, and have installed NordVPN onto that and I find it to be a very seamless experience.

      Another helpful website is uNoGS which automatically updates which countries you can watch what in.

      • I have a chromecast with google tv as well!! So if i install the nord vpn app onto that device i can actually fool it into believing my location is not Australia?

            Now when trying out Netflix its a bit slower than usual but when i try to play a title it just shows an error asking me to close off vpn or proxy!! Does that mean netflix wont work??

            A bit of a noob here so any help is really appreciated!!

            • @Tokz666: What county are you connecting to? You might have to try again or another server. If not, their support should be able to tell you what server to connect to :)

    • I use a Chromecast, which has a NordVPN app you can install and manage your VPN locations from there.

      You can with any Android TV if you can install NordVPN. If you don't have Android TV, buy Chromecast with Google TV.
      Really easy to switch countries (library) through NordVPN app. Works flawlessly.

      You can also set-up a router, but that's a bit more advanced and less practical.

      Highly recommend NordVPN… Support is good, servers are fast, apps are amazing…

      Can't speak for Surfshark but i'm an Optus nbn customer in Tasmania.
      I can get close to my 100/40 with Nord on.
      Ran a speedtest just now, so a busyish time and got 92/36.
      Paused it and got 101/37.
      I could not be happier with Nord :)

      There are very few sites that pick that it's a VPN and won't let me through.
      Oddly www.rateyourmusic.com is one - go figure.
      But no issue with any of the streaming services I have.

      • You should contact NordVPN about that site not working, they have a system that does some obfuscating stuff to the server if it blocks VPN connections - think they call it “Smart DNS”

    For everyone wondering - I purchased this at $109.44 and got $102.01 tracked one hour after purchase! $7.43 is not bad 😎

    I used the Cashrewards app and 4G on my phone. Then, in the app I created a new NordVPN account and paid with my debit card. One hour later I got the email saying that my cashback was tracked

      I took a punt on Chrome but i've missed a few with that.
      This time I turned off the VPN (Nord ironically) and all the other adblockers and so on.
      If nothing's happened after a couple of hours i'll cancel and try again with a phone.

    I'm exhausted after a long day and forgot to remove the NordPass add-on.

    I wonder, will that make my cashback completely ineligible, or do I only get cashback for the VPN component?

    I can always request a refund and re-order with another email address, but just wondering if anybody else had success my way.

    Out $100 with no further recourse, please only do this if up for rolling the dice.

    Can confirm have recently been dudded by this exact deal. Been around for a while, used CR/Shopback frequently and know the new customer, be careful with other referrers schtick, etc. For 100 bucks was especially careful!

    7 months later and a heap of correspondence Nordvpn/Cashrewards refuse to cough up saying it didn't track/was allocated elsewhere.

        Hindsight is a beautiful thing, but good point worth highlighting.
        Picked up the click, thought it was sweet and can take a while to pick up sometimes so wasn't concerned. Pointing out for others benefit to be careful, as went in thinking there's no way it doesn't work.
        On the whole Cashrewards has been awesome.

    • I used MasterCard and switched to USA, since it’s the same field I’m sure it’ll work! Try using the CR app if you can, seems to have worked for everyone. If for some reason it doesn’t work, you have 30 days to get a refund from NordVPN anyway

    • I picked USA as the country to avoid GST and the Cashback was tracked.
