    24th May. No price confirmed, but expect it to be close to the price of the d5100. (at least going by current amazon prices) :D

  I know for a fact that Camerahouse,Elizabeth st., Melbourne will do this camera for ~ 540 $ with a better Lens 18-110 mm lens and a better overall package, 1000 free prints, free DSLR tutor lesson, and better local support from people who know something about cameras.

    18-105mm lens maybe? Didn't know there is a Nikon 18-105mm, maybe it is not a Nikon lens? 18-110mm is a much more flexible lens.

    This sounds fishy, d3100 grey price is about $400, and the 18-105 lens(assume thats what you meant) is about 340. I know from time to time aus retailers can put out better price than grey(ie, the last DSE 1hr deal), but NOT this much on an entry model.

      sorry 105 lens then, I am just a monkey with a DSLR not a TRUE photographer.

      I know Camera house did how because I got one and another friend got a similar great deal on a D90
