During the 16 hour promo, cashback for BWS is capped at $30 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 8am to 11:59pm AEST 12/05/2022. Penfolds is excluded from cashback. Online only offer.

      Yeah it's always hard to choose a bargain. I usually just get a carton of coopers pale ale because it's at least Australian owned.

    $75 is the sweet spot for the maximum $30 cash back. If we sign up to the $10 new member offer, I assume we should buy $85 worth of stuff to get the $30 cash back?

    • Macallan 12 Triple Cask is showing as $105.60 on clearance and in stock near me. so $75.60 after cashback. I don't normally recommend the Mac 12's at their $100+ price but for $75 it is a bargain.

      Also JW18 is showing as $100, so down to $70 after cashback.

      With $30 off, all your quality daily's would be cheap … Aberlour 12, JW15, Talisker 10, Laddie etc etc.

      Take $10 off again for new BWS signups.

    I have cases upon cases of beer. It's getting silly. I have cheap cases from the Nomad clearance line. I have cheap cases from the last BWS cashback at 30%. I have cases from the last First Choice cashback. I have cases from the Harris Farm/Batch Brewing stack. I still have some freakin' kombucha booze from ages ago.

    Oh well. I guess I'm getting another case then.

    • drink the ones expiring first. Otherwise you could find yourself with expired, bad tasting beer. Most beers only have a certain shelf life. Only ones like Coopers Pale ale don't follow that rule.

      • Oh yeah I'm all over it. That being said, I've tested the theory on hops fading and best before dates extensively. I've had a ton of fresh beers (hoppy NEIPAs and IPAs) that were fresh and a ton of them that were cheapies in the dated bargain bin and I really can't tell much difference.

        So either I have the taste of a dullard or it's an overhyped element of craft beer.

        But yeah the nomad beers are lagers (one doesn't have a bbd), the kombucha (who gives a shit) and the rest are blondes/xxxx

        The pacific ales have a long expiry and came fresh but I'm having an election party so that should be the end of those.

        Also, I'm gonna make a separate post on this but the BWS cashrewards didn't track. AGAIN.

      S8n3-T4p-e7u is the generic coupon code. It's applied after you click conform and go through to payment.

    I'm trying to use the CashRewards app to make my purchase(s) but keep getting the following error:

    Only purchases on BWS's website is eligible for cashback.

    I don't have the BWS app installed on my phone so not sure why it's trying to open :/

    Hmmm I disabled ad block and followed all the conditions. Spent $95 - $10 coupon. Nothing showing in my cash rewards account though… how long does itt usually take to track the purchase? I used Paypal if that matters (which is linked in CW)…

    • sometimes it can take a few hours. Check your click history that it has registered there and then play the waiting game lol

      BWS/Cashrewards is just not worth the bother. Lodge it in 7 days. Set a reminder on your calendar.

      • Pi-hole has been causing me issues. Cost me a few decent cashbacks. I now see it's on the list of things to turn off.

        • I also used the code for new sign up and no cash back confirmation as yet. My gf did one without the code and her cashback tracked within 5 minutes.

          I think there might be an issue here.

    god I hate their website. So hard to find things by price, esp beer…that is a nightmare. FC, Liquorland and Dans are so much easier to use. They really need to up their game.

      • lol, anything on the cheaper end and with higher alcohol %. I usually work out costs via total volume/price of carton and after return and earn cashback . It's ok, I'll work it out. They just make it very hard. Even when you select to sort by price low to high, it is all over the place and not in order at all and you can't select all beer and do the sort that way either, as there is no section showing all beer, even when you select it, it still sorts into specials etc etc. I'll prob just get a carton of the Tooheys new block cans, I think that works out the best value. Most things are a bit pricier on BWS than other sites anyway. I got on TUN Bitter from Dans the other day using a discounted WW wish card, but haven't picked it up yet to see if my husband turns his nose up at it lol….so, I don't want to chance getting another one.

    Yeah this is my last cashrewards/BWS purchase. 40% is great, but it's not worth the hassle. IT DOES NOT TRACK. This is the second time. No adblockers. It's all turned on properly. I clicked through the link in the thread and I have the extension installed. Other ones track almost instantly. BWS doesn't track.

    Now due to the terrible 7 day waiting period to manually claim I have to set a reminder (AGAIN) and do it manually (AGAIN) for a twenty buck saving.

    I love your work TA but BWS/Cashrewards are not good friends.

        More than 2 hours for me and no tracking. I'll give it to the end of the day and then cancel if the tracking hasn't occured. Not worth the hassel in following this up if the tracking fails.

          3 hrs 15 minutes for me and no tracking. Didn't use CR app, since had that pop up about opening BWS app. (Which isn't installed)

            @Spending2Much: I didn't use the App either.

            It's just a flaw with cashrewards in my experience. There is no way to predict when it will fail, even when you do everything the same each time.

            Following up is a major hassel. You'll get an automatic 'you did something wrong' from cashrewards and then have to press the point with them that it's actually their fault and nothing that you did wrong. They may agree and award the cashback as a 'goodwill gesture' or they may never award the cashback.

            Much easier to just cancel the transaction.

              @DrRalph: I booked a hotel on booking.com with cashrewards, but it was not tracked.I sent a claim to cashrewards support, the staff wanted me to show the confirmation email with cashrewards brand logo on it. But the transaction was not tracked how can I provide the email with cashrewards logo?  The staff said there was no way they could help me if I couldn't provide the email with cashrewards logo.

                The support staff were referring to your booking.com confirmation email, not your Cashrewards email. Once you click from Cashrewards, every page on booking.com will have Cashrewards branding/logo (see links in terms below). If it's not there, you've clicked away to another tab or used Honey/AdBlock etc. Feel free to test it and you'll find I'm right. Booking.com is one of our best clients for this very reason - if Cashrewards branding is there, tracking is 100% guaranteed, and you'll never need to raise a claim. See terms here…
