I own it, don't know if its just me or the keyboard but the keys just seem slightly off causing errors when I type.

    • u mean the keys registers different charecters or u endup mashing wrong keys ?

If it is the latter, it is mostly caused by G key row on the left that needs some getting used to.

      • +1

definitely the latter. I just feel like no matter how much I use it, I just cant seem to get used to it. other than that the keyboard has been perfect for me, no disconnects at all.

Not sure if it’s this one, but a lot of people complain the secondary symbols don’t have a backlight, which if using in a lowly lit/ dark room can be cumbersome. Just a heads up (:

This keyboard has no lights except for the connection switchers and the indicator LEDs.

  • Great keyboard for hybrid office gaming setups. Annoying how a lot of gaming keyboards omit the numpad but this has it and it feels great.

    • A gaming keyboard without a numpad is typically a TKL model rather than the usual - eg the G915 range has both options. The numpad adds unnecessary bulk for FPS games where good players use low sensitivity and require a large area for their mouse.

  • I purchased this a few weeks ago for about $10 more arghh!

Currently using it and as it's my first ever mechanical/gaming keyboard, I guess it does the job. Nosier and bigger than the one I've had before but definitely a nice upgrade for casual gaming and typing experience (anything else would be an upgrade coming from an MK220 tbh) + a huge reason I got this is the numpad and it uses AA batteries instead of charging them up which I also prefer.

Very quick response and seamlessly even connects to my Chromebook tablet in seconds via BT.

  • Great keyboard, highly recommend. I'm using it right now and it's one of the best computer purchases I've ever made. Typing on it feels so good and fast.

  • Can this share the same receiver as my g604?

Without jumping off the deepend with researching this, what's the difference between this and higher end logitech mech keyboards?

    • One difference is number of LEDs

    • Nope

      • Thanks!

  • Thanks. bought one. I have a small-size keyboard and I always struggle not having the complete keys when I need them.
I'm not really a fan of small size keyboards

  • I wonder if there is a way to hack the tx out of this and use it in my own keyboard.

  • I have this keyboard (and many others including customs). Its not terrible if you want a low latency wireless mechanical, but it is a full plastic build and keycaps are quite cheap with a strange font. The biggest issue for me are the Romer G switches which don't feel great (especially when combined with the cheap keycaps).

  • I have this and I dont like it as much. Have to rotate my wrist up to type as the Keyboard is quite high. And its not silent, its definitely will annoy your colleague if you are typing too much. And it took longer on this keyboard to type without many mistakes. Just my opinion.

    • So my work mates will be upset with me in an open plan office I assume?

      • Sorry, my bad. I will put it as 'it may'. My colleague has this in my office and I get annoyed. I use mine at home.

Personally I don't recommend Logitech omron switch keyboard because these keyboards have serious issue of double strokes while typing after their 2 years warranty.

  • +2

Please do yourselves a favour and get Keychron for a little extra. They keys are very wobbly and doesn't feel satisfying like a good mechanical keyboard.

  • +2

Lots of keyboard chattering when the batteries get low

  • +3

I’ve owned this for a few years and it’s now starting to register double keypresses often. Wouldn’t recommend buying.

    • Bad luck, Ive had mine for 3 years and its been flawless.

    • Yeah same here, used to be my daily driver at work, but now the keys are chattering. Replacing the battery seems to resolve the issue but it comes back as a low (probably 40%) battery reminder

    • Amen to this, getting double strokes now, so annoying when entering passwords.. have this for almost 2 years now

  • For those who don't need the "gaming" features, I think the Keychron K10 is much better: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/keychron-k10

    • I'm looking forward to a Keychron K10 Aluminum deal. Any point in getting the hot swappable keys?

      • Only if you're an enthusiast and are planning to swap out the keys or want the flexibility to do so!

        • So that's only if you want certain key use different switches right? If you want to swap all the keys from red to brown switches for example, better off to buy a whole new keyboard right?
