[Switch] Nintendo Switch Sports - Free with 2 Select PS5, XSX, Switch Games Trade-In @ JB Hi-Fi

92

Was browsing the JB site and noticed they had a decent trade-in deal on Nintendo Switch Sports, better than the EB pre-order of $19 when trading in 2 games (although at least with EB, ps4/xbox one games are also eligible).

List of eligible games is here: https://support.jbhifi.com.au/hc/en-au/articles/360055416674…

You get more value to sell it as second hand and use that cash to buy the Nintendo Switch Sports

The games listed are worth more alone

Also with their list of games available to trade in, those are not the cheapo games you can trade in for the EB deal.

    • Even when old Javier Norman chucked in a $20 voucher…..I still couldn't justify buying this game.

I couldn't justify buying from Harvey Norman's full stop.

  • ok. now the question is where to get cheap 2nd hand games

  • +7

The value of some trade-in eligible titles are worth more than the sport game itself.

How is this deal better than the EB deal?

Have you had a look at the eligible games?

JB will take them and put them as pre-owned and sell them for $49-69 each as they do with a lot of their overpriced games.

Negging this because that game list is full of games worth similar money to Sports by themselves, let alone trading 2 of them

Yeah understandable, I'll admit I didn't take a good look at the eligible games, at first glance I thought it may have been similar to EB's list but it does seem to be very specific, decently priced titles.

Not as good a deal as I initially thought!

Thanks, traded $220 of PS5 games to save $52 💪

This is an incredibly shit and redundant offer.

Switch Sports won't be a rare game in the future. I mean, the game itself is only $59 at release?

Why bother trading in anything for it?

  • As users have previously mentioned, this is a pretty bad deal.

Additionally, I think they were running the same deal on pre-orders of the game before.

Now i have a list of games that are popular and retain value
