    • It's a sander. So if you have wood that is a little old and need painting, you sand it with this to prepare then paint. It is a little small so it'll be suitable for small applications

  • Tried one, didn't do what I wanted. I don't think the "Velcro" is very good.
I needed to sand in a tight corner using just the pointed end and the sandpaper kept coming off.

  • Hi guys, does 3ah battery fixed?.

  • -4

Don't bother, batteries don't last, they are generic cells, have had to repack every battery I have, 2 angle grinders burnt out with verry little low impact use

    • Where do you buy cells from ?

    • +1

Someone posted a while back that they had cracked open the various batteries and different sizes had different cells. I think the takeaway was that the 4Ah and the 2.5 had decent quality cells Panasonic or Samsung (cant remember which) and the others were generic no names

I've been looking at some decent cells (Panasonic/Samsung) online but the price per cell is too high to consider a DIY battery repack when the old cells die.

Buy Bosch 18V batteries when on sale and repack. They are Samsungs, Bosch batteries are super simple no fancy special electronics BMS for cell balancing because each cell is factory tested and cell performance matched before they group them to be packed into a battery.

This is a lot better than other powertool manufacturers that rely on battery electronics BMS that has to cell balance everytime when charging because they pick random cells when packing a battery.

  • Legend! Returned the one we bought 2 weeks ago for $42 and bought this 😆

  • Not sure who reported it as sold out but there's still stock in WA… Need that stock checker link

  • Ends tomorrow (18/5) according to the orange tag I saw today (NSW)

    • I thought they would have all finished when the others did on Sunday but you're right, still showing the reduced price along with the grinder

  • This item is now instock in many NSW stores at the same price.

My order was previously refunded, and I have just re-ordered from the same store and ready to collect.
