Not bad at $2/blade if u have a big w nearby.
$38 at small w
I found Aldi one lasted longer.
Yeap Aldi one always $2 a blade and very decent having tried a few
any difference in feel.
I was using schick hydro 3 but ran out recently and been finding it hard to find catridges on special.
Was thinking of getting aldi cos its always in stock and cheap
How long do the Aldi one's last for you.
Four months and I don't have a lot to shave. By the way all hydros are compatible as far as I know.
thanks just went and got the aldi one.
We'll try it out soon!
couldn't justify the 30+ min drive to bigW
Are the blades still made in Germany?
After all the years, I finally understand why it is called big W because woolworths is the other w.
me too
I thought the W in big w stand for big world. Woolworths should take pride to explain that to the world.
Hate these, Gillette Skin Guard 💯 better.
Incorrect
Always confused by why people on ozbargain, dedicated to saving money, still use these things over safety blades at 10-20c/blade. Not only that, a far better shave too.
How long does one safety blade last
The hydro 3 blade lasts me 6 months(100 shaves)
How do you manage 100 shaves, even if you hone it?
You can HONE shaving blades? And increase their longevity and usability!? What!? How?!
These blades last me two months, shaving once a week. For my dad, one month, daily shaving, heavy growth.
Must depend on beard thickness then. I get maybe 2-3 shaves out of these things before they blunt and start ripping out my hair and causing a rash on my face/neck.
Safety blades aren't that suitable for shaving non face areas.
If you want to save money, don't shave!
Gotta spend money to shave money
Gotta shave money to MAKE money…
these are terrible blades, try Gillette fusion and you'll never look back, you can pick them up for $15-20 on marketplace
For a pack of 4, that's $5 per blade.
We boycott Gillette
Anecdotal, at best.
What does everyone do with their used blades? Chuck it in the bin? Landfill? Is there a way to recycle them? Or even sharpen them and reuse them?
Yea, I bought one of these. They're made of plastic coated rubber. All it does is keep your blade 'clean'. I'm not a 100% convinced if it's a placebo effect for me.
