WhatsApp- Adding Non-Contacts to Group

Hi,

I wish to create a group and add people to the group.

However, there's a few people in the group but I don't want to create a contact for each and every one of them.

How can I add bulk add people to groups without them being a contact?

Some in the group don't have emails- I know you can send people a link to join the group.

If such a way exists, it could be very easily exploited to use for spamming.

1) create the group
2) go into "group info" settings
3) click "invite to group via link" (link copied in clipboard)
4) SMS / email link to person

  I don't have all their emails.
  
  If I have to SMS them, I may as well add them to my contact list and then group.

What Ive done in the past is create a CSV file of all the contact details and bulk import them into my Google Contacts using the Import function. I use the name to also tag the contacts like (Group XYZ).

Then in Whatsapp, I just search for contacts that have Group XYZ in the name and add them to the group. Once added; I delete all the users from my Contacts. This works on Android very easily - not sure about iOS
