I think almost every OzB member who wants to has already joined CR/SB but it's always good to give people a reminder esp when there's a decent referral boost.

  • trying to understand

Is it my friend 'referer' gets $40, and I 'referee' gets $10?

Your friend gets $20, you get $40

      • very nice , thanks

      • Referees get $10?

Oh my bad, I read OP’s title wrongly
Just checked and referees get $10

I signed up refereed my gf she bought $20 jbhifi giftcard
Still says locked pending any reason foe this ?

    • Hey mate, there are 4 steps to get the referee bonus for new signups:

      • You have added your withdrawal details
      • Your friend has signed up using your link or code
      • Your friend has spent $20 and have his or her cashback confirmed
      • Your friend has added his or her withdrawal details
    • Hopefully her transaction tracked

It saids purchases of gift cards are excluded

      • Still confused about this, are GC purchases allowed for successfully referral @gotyourback ?? It says Shopback voucher are exclude - so just swap cards are excluded or any Gift Cards ??

    • I think gift cards are not allowed for the $20 spend requirement

    Nupo.
My attempt at doing a referall when it was $30 got rejected some time ago. Followed all the rulles too.

    • I got the $40 referral no problem but my sister did accumulate around $40 in cashback in the second week of referring. Makeup and perfume is expensive.

      • Yep - hard to keep checking your referee has spent and tracked properly.
It would be easier to just do it yourself but that is against the rules

        • What do you mean? It shows in your referral tab what steps have been completed. I mean I don't highlight were it successfully tracked though like a 0% category which might be what you are talking about.

  • Too many new user posts.

  • Can it be multiple purchases totaling over $20 or one single purchase over $20 to qualify?

    • 1 single purchase >/=$20

  • Does the "2. Received a minimum $10 confirmed cashback online" condition still apply for the referee? I can't see it in the Shopback T&Cs itself, just "has his/her Cashback (from their first purchase) turned confirmed".

  • Whoever used Shopback for eBay - Does it track when it is using a gift card?

When using a gift card, it is shown as using a voucher/coupon. Under T&C, using coupons will result in $0 cashback.

Can Shopback differentiate using a gift card or voucher when making a gift card payment?

    • Tracks when using Gift Card!!

Does it track when it is using a gift card?

      SB don’t differentiate, eBay does.

Can Shopback differentiate using a gift card or voucher when making a gift card payment?

Although for user, both applied as same. ebay GC are 13 digit numeric only code where as Vouchers are short & mixture.
