    1526 clicks and still in stock, i can't believe…

    • +2

many people who want a good deal, but cant get over DLSS and Ray Tracing

    • +1

The cart isn't real-time. I added 30 GPU and it's asking me to pay.

  • +1

I think we're getting to the point that people are willing to wait for the 4000 series nvidia cards, for this reason and crypto not being as profitable, graphics cards are coming down…

  • +1

Better off waiting a bit more and getting a 3080 or 6800xt at closer to RRP.
These cards are originally designed for whales who don't care about value

    • +2

not going to happen - team green is selling you a 12gb version for more, and team read wont be restocking the 6800xt and cook up a XX50 series presumably higher rrp

    • It is around msrp, pretty good considering the last 2 years.

You can really tell just how bad AMD cards are. This card is already insane value and still in stock after 6 hours.

I bet you $1000 if AMD widened the memory bus on the Navi II lineup, they would sell like candy.

    • +1

You're not wrong about a widened memory bus. However, AMD cards aren't bad. Lol

    • That's why AMD have the infinity cache…

  • +2

wish this was an ASUS TUF version and not Gigabyte!

    • +2

      Yep. Waiting for a 6900 / 6800 / 3080 that isn't Gigabyte / MSI. Preferably Sub-$1100-1200. Dreamin'

  • +7

    Dang!

    That's MSRP!
    1370 AUD is 1010 USD!
6900 XT MSRP is meant to be 999 USD!
Pulled the trigger, bought a new PSU and new Case too.

    • +1

      It's a good price.
      Now don't look back.

    • +3

It's even below MSRP because when you subtract GST this is $1245 AUD which is only $920 USD.

      • Time to book a flight and claim back my GST on TRS

    • +2

You won't regret it. They're awesome

    • +1

      well played.
My 6900xt (purhased for $2200) is going strong and is a great card.
(side note i was trying to flip it before the price drops, but ohh well)

      • Same, I paid $1899 last November, thought it was a bargain at that time. But it is a great solid graphic card any way, no regret :)

  • um. why does it have 3x 8 pin power inputs.

    • Apparently it does work with just two inputs, but it can throttle. I bought a PSU with 3 8-pins, phew (MSI MPG 850W)

      • TechPowerUp says the power draw (combined PCI Express and the 3x 8-pin) is about 330W with potential for power spikes exceeding 600W.

  • Hold ?

    • HODL for it to go below MSRP?

      • Hodl fiat 💵 to buy higher.

      • I will hold

  • should i sell my 3070 ti for this?

    • +2

Probably the most wasteful thing you could do. Will probably lose money and already have a good card.

  • Tempting… Worth upgrading from 5700xt? or wait til next gen….

    • Dude just buy a rtx 3080. Can get as low as 1300 right now and get 80MH with a LHR unlocked 😋

  • erghhhh man, finger is on the trigger.

  • Only difference for 6950XT is a ram overclock which you can do yourself on any card.

  • Why can't the 6600xt/3060/3060ti reach msrp like the 6900xt and 1650 super?

    • +2

I guess cuz those cards are more mainstream and still have high demand for average users.

      • Indeed. I was implying retailers/whoever up the chain are standing firm against the mainstream market. A big standoff to prevent the mainstream market dodging inflated prices. Nvidia ceo claimed to his shareholders he expects mainstreamers to spend $300 more on average.

It's most likely because they're still priced to their hashrate not frames per dollar. If a 3060ti was $540 I'd imagine it would be preferred over a $450 rx6600 for eth

    • The 1650 super is older than all those cards and there is no reason for it be very inflated at this point. On the other hand 6900 XT is a very high end card that was poor value to begin with at its MSRP compared to the mid range cards you listed which have lower margins.

I came to see an AMD card get up to 200 upvotes!

  • +1

Caved and bought this. Picked it up from Auburn. Card is a beast.

    • I don't know why the $769 6700XT was upvoted. Most people picked them up for just under $700 at launch. This 6900XT however is actually launch price
