I just bought a short figure 8 US cable and plug it straight into my charger brick. Cost like 2 bucks delivered.

Another hack, if you have several devices, is to bring along a AU powerboard with you. So you only need one of these.

      • Pretty much what i do, ill only bring a few adapters (always spares in the event you leave 1 in a hotel room) and bring my regular 8 Port Power Board.
I can pretty much setup all my camera/laptop/phone wherever i want.

  • For inbound, I use these. 3 for $14.44 delivered with Amazon prime

    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07VNF1NHJ/

  • These also scan at $5 at kmart (bought 2 OB adaptors) today

  • This is kinda crap honestly, always invest in those universal adapter instead if you are going overseas

    • I haven't seen a universal adaptor that I would trust not to snap while I'm plugging it in. And the ones with pins that slide in and out look like an electrocution hazard (I'm an electronics engineer, I know what it takes to make something safe).

  • Guys, check out your local luggage stores, the places where you buy suitcases. They usually have travel adapters inexpensively.

For example, decent-looking travel adapters here for $3.95 each: https://bagstogo.com.au/collections/travel-adaptors

Not all luggage stores are that cheap though. Probably won't find good prices at luggage stores that are inside shopping centers.
