    That's a hekka of a deal.

Waiting for someone to tell us the 7 will be out anytime soon.

  • @OldBugger "the 7 will be out anytime soon."

on a serious note. These any good for sleep tracking?

    • +5

Sleep tracking is pretty rough. A bit of tossing and turning isn't tracked in my experience. Jumping up from a nightmare or having your partner push you out of bed (happens to me a lot) will definitely be picked up.

      • +2

Time to post a bed bargain then huh! ;)

      • +5

This is mostly my experience too. if I'm awake and I get up to check on the kids in the middle of the night then it tracks it. Occasionally I'll be lying in bed awake for a while but it still sometimes counts as light sleep.

Not saying it's bad but it's not always accurate during, when you go to sleep and wake up seems to track well though. Will give you a general idea of your sleep which for $34 is pretty good IMO. Most of the time when I've had a bad nights sleep it correlates.

      • +1

Would be interesting to have a Fitbit or Garmin on the other wrist to compare.

        • Garmin is arse at sleep tracking fyi

    • Yes if you use the "notify for mi band" app instead of the mi fit app

    • +1

I pair my miband (older edition) with Sleep as Android and it tracks my sleep+heart rate by using the phone's accelerometer, the miband's pedometer (the footstep counting thing-a-ma-jig) and heart rate tracker. The band on its own using xiaomi's software isn't good enough imho

    • I'm not sure about sleep, but the wrist fitness trackers are next to worthless for tracking heart rate. There is a guy on YouTube named 'The Quantified Scientist" that puts them through their paces and shows how inaccurate they are for HR. What you really want is something like the Polar H10 if tracking your HR is what you're after.

    • +2

Check out The Quantified Scientist on YouTube. He has a lot of comparisons to other fitness trackers and dedicated EEG and Heart Rate trackers to give a good baseline. Basically, if you want good sleep tracking, buy a fitbit.

This is a scientific review of the device - can highly recommend this channel for other devices as well.

  • Great deal, cheers

this was free on the last deal bundled with the poco phone.

    • +1

Bad comparison because you still had to pay more for a phone.

      • it was a delicious deal though

        • +2

Wish I jumped on it because my phone broke recently and had to settle for a cheap Motorola. Terrible terrible phone.

          • +3

@Clear: Which phone out of curiosity?

            • @lazyfun: Edge 20. Main complaint is the touch responsiveness of the screen.

              • @Clear: Me too. I regret it

              • @Clear: edge 20 not exactly a cheap mobile.
Apps Opening Slowly On The Motorola Edge 20 - known issue, google the fix
some people have that with touch devices, maybe lack of minerals, dehydration?

                • @CheepAsChips: $499 on sale and I paid $350. What a stupid remark about the touchscreen. The panel and it's responsiveness is shit house compared to other phones and Lenovo forums are full of people with similar complaints about ghost touches etc. The Nokia 2.3 for example even beats it.

  • get one thank you

Is there a way to sync this with the Qantas well-being app? Currently syncing with Fitbit

    • +1

Yes. Can do with syncing with Google fit.

    • +1

      Cheers.,thanks for reminding me.
Forgot to check this app for a few months now.

  • I've read that there were cheaper offers for the MiBand6 in the Silvrr app. I haven't installed it myself so I can't check. But maybe someone wants to try.

  • +2

If I tie this to my car wheel will it track exercise so that my partner thinks I have been out running?

    • Android phone? Get one of the fake GPS apps that lets you fake your location and simulate walking. Then open up Google Maps timeline to show you just ran a few blocks.

      • You can manually add to Google timeline without a fake GPS app.
I need to fake the steps though as they know you can edit a Google timeline so that trick won't work.

        • Fake GPS plus a fitness app it is then.

    • +1

Have you tried furious masturbation? You get bonus steps if you listen to The Stroke while working it out.

  • Anyone know what the best health and sleep management watch is?

    • Following

      • I've been contemplating a smart watch for many months. Main focus points are for health monitoring including better sleep and stress management. A smart alarm to wake you during light sleep is ideal which the Mi band 6 doesn't natively support, but with an app it can be added. For the price, this honestly seems like the best deal. Sure, a flagship smart watch worth $400-600 will be better and offer more advanced features, but I think this will still do a great job and tie me over until the industry has developed further in a year or so.

    • +1

      Apple Watch Series 7.

But is it worth $600+ along with requiring an iPhone? Probably not.

The Xiaomi band can do at least half what the Apple Watch does at about 1/20th the price.

  • Will this track location without a phone?

  • Cheers OP, took a gamble and got one for the missus.

  • +2

How’s your experience with Hekka, guys?

    • +2

All good, am wearing my miband from a deal back earlier in the year as I type this. Communication from them is good, tracking provided and arrives in 2-3 weeks from memory.

  • I just dug mine up having bought it over a year ago and barely used it. I am loving checking the data every day, the sleep tracking is good enough for me, and I find the graphs for bedtime routine highly motivating.

  • Thank you, OP. I’ve been looking for a deal on these.

  • +1

Will these ever have working nfc in Australia or no?

    • Thats what i keep waiting for too and honestly doesn't seem likely in the near future

  • Can this read Exchange server emails? Have an alarm?

  • Bought one, thanks op

  • I bought the Amazfit GTS from this deal for my dad but wondering if this would do the job just fine at half the price. He's not very tech savvy and looking to just monitor his activity, HR, sleep tracking; wouldn't need fancy features like phone notifications.

  • +1

Deal may be finished, tried to buy std black but not offering full discounted price.

  • Cant buy more than 1 at a time. Require 3.

    • Just bought 1 via mobile. Worked fine.

    • Left wrist, right wrist, and….

      • +1

        Third leg lol
You know you got to track that activity

  • Thanks OP grabbed one for a family member who's sick of their smart watch daily charging woes. Was able to checkout with PayPal, for whatever reason Hekka wouldn't accept any card number

    • +2

Always do PayPal just for the added protection.

  • Seeing more Mi Band deals than Eneloop deals lately

  • Coupon doesnt seem to work

    • +3

Only works for the black band with no second colour.

  • +1

    voucher is still working
may work better purchasing in $US
seems only 1 voucher & 1 Band per customer
I needed 3 bands which I purchased in their names.. etc, each on separate transactions.
    Hope this helps others.

    • 3 accounts or 1?

      • I didn't use accounts, just completed shipping detail incl email & mobile for each band purchase, then paid using my PayPal.
        3 complete separate transactions.

  • God damn it. Saw this a few days ago, missed out. Thought, F it and just bought one from AliExpress for $45… 2 days later, this gets posted again… hahaha. Here, have an upvote.

  • Cheers OP, pulled the trigger

  • Purchased! Time to upgrade my band 5, ta!

  • Thanks OP. Great deal

  • Trigger pulled. Comes to $35.20 as of today using Paypal. Thanks, great deal OP!

    • +1

I always try and pay in USD using a low fee CC - came out $0.05 more expensive that the OP achieved in their headline rate.

      • +2

^This. Paid with 28 degrees CC in USD on Saturday, worked out to be $33.81 instead of $35.20 converted by Paypal (I think there's fees also?)

        • The extra ~$1 for Paypal is because I don't mind paying without the risk of exposing my card details. I know it's a false sense of security though, considering the next thing I'll be doing is exposing all of my health data.

          • +2

@Skidro: I have my 28 degrees card saved in Paypal, so still went through Paypal but picked 28deg CC card as payment method and changed currency to USD.

  • Bought one on Tuesday
    Still hasn’t shipped

    • Me neither, has anyone's been shipped?
      Is it shipped from Australia?

    • Same, yet to be shipped but received an e-mail for feedback…

  • Can the CCP do anything with my stress and heart rate data?

  • waiting for mine to arrive… anyone else got theirs ?

    • Nothing here either…

      • I've just received update that it's being shipped.

        • Arrived today!

I noticed the label has a Port Melbourne address on it, so unless they receive shipment locally for re-packing I'm surprised it took this long for delivery.

Anyone else have trouble pairing the Mi Band 6? I am using the Mi Fitness app and it detects it but doesn't verify. And I get an error saying device's version is not supported in the region…

    • +1

Does the Mi app ask for a region? If so choose China.

      • That worked for me, thanks.
