It is a great oil for Peugeot/Citroen with 1.6THP engine, one of the very few with PSA approval. Very hard to get hold of Total oil outside of dealers, most of the distributor will not sell to individuals so this is a good alternative and cheaper.

    • My Audi 3L V6 TDI loves it too

      • Hey mate,

I've got the same engine - is there any benefits to this oil vs. other 504/507 spec oils? I normally go for Nulon Euro as it's normally the cheapest VAG approved oil.

Try it you won't be disappointed, will feel the difference instantly and I've been using it for the past 5 years. I found the engine runs much smoother and quieter on this and reduces that diesel rattle sound/vibration.

          • @FeZZa21: Damn, that does sound good! The VAG 3.0 TDI barely has the typical diesel clatter so will be interesting to see how much of a difference this makes.

            • @maybeamacy: Yes you're right actually the 3.0 TDI doesnt have much of the diesel clatter, I had an VW Eos tdi few years back and that had the clatter and this oil reduced it significantly.

@nubzy There's also Penrite C3 that you can use in the Pug/Cit/Mini 1.6 engines - it's not on the official list but it meets the low ash requirements 👍
