  • Yay, finally an oilon sale that fits my vehicle. Shame everything else on my cart has gone up in price 😕

Edit: and there's no stock near me. Is anyone else finding it hard to choose their local store? Mine keeps defaulting to Plainland?

    • I have a hunch it's cyclone related. I've tried to do click-and-collects at Bunnings, Target, Big W and JB around Ipswich/Redbank in the last two days and they either said 'service unavailable' or wouldn't come up with locals stores at all.

  • why cannot be use on petrol too ?

    • Diesel engine oil differs from petrol engine oil primarily in its additives and the conditions it is formulated to handle. Although both types of oil share a common purpose—lubricating and protecting the engine—they are optimized for different combustion characteristics and emissions requirements.

      API SN

Its suitable if your petrol engine is happy with API SN and 5w-30.

7 litres is the perfect size for a Toyota V6.

  • This is telling me it is also suitable for petrol engines, check you vehicle

  • Vow 505.01 but for those with DPF.

    • fine if u haven't a DPF as well

  • how come the product says its for diesel engines but supercheap auto says it is suitable for my vehicle and its a 1.6L petrol engine.

    • +2

Because diesel engines with DPF's need a very specific oil (i.e. low ash and low-mid SAPS) but in turn, it makes an oil than far exceeds just about anything a petrol engine would require.
The ACEA C2-C3 is the minimum specifications this oil meets for diesel engines, the API SN is the minimum specifications this oil meets for petrol engines, so your engine must meet that spec.

  • Other auto shops saying it does not fit my Holden Commodore.
