        so just to be clear, if I switch over and stay for 30 days and switch to a different provider on the day 31
        I'll still get the gift cards but will take at least another 60 days to arrive, is that correct?

        is there a limit to how many time I can take up these offers, as I see new ones posted monthly? so for instance, if there is another offer next month, after I have been with this provider for 30 days already, can I take up the offer at the time and get another gift card?

          According to terms and conditions if switch or connection is cancelled within the first 30 days the transaction would be deemed invalid and you will not be eligible for the gift card, however, it depends upon the final status of the switch if it was successful or not which we receive within 90 days according to retailer's specifications.

    How long have people waited for their gift cards with Econnex?

    Switched over several months ago after another Ozbargain deal and never received anything. They claim 90 days which is an awfully long time and I’m pretty sure it’s gone past that point.

      I've done this a couple of times through Econnex and have always received the gift cards just before the 90 days expires. I haven't had to chase them up. Could there have been a delay to your start date due to waiting for a final meter reading?

    This deal constantly gets posted, so be sure to check other providers because their rates are expensive compared to others, and you will end up paying more in the long run even after the bonus offer.

      U30004, unfortunately, Alinta energy does not accept only gas applications, You will receive a $200 Woolworths Supermarket Bonus eGift Card when you switch your energy and gas and You will receive a $100 Woolworths Supermarket Bonus eGift Card when you switch your electricity only.

          U3004, could you please share your electricity rates and provider's name if you don't mind please? My rates with Origin are 19.73c (no peak/off-peak, single rate) and supply charge of 93.58c/day (all inc gst). I did a comparison based on my last bill and Alinta (this deal) was the cheapest. TIA.

    I submitted a switch via Econnex. However it never asked me any details regarding my current Electricity & Gas supplier? Is this going to happen after 10 business day cooling-off period? I am confusing…

      Hey vincentweioz, Econnex, handles all heavy lifting and will have your transfer request processed with Alinta energy. Your connection will be switched within 3-5 business days, however you have 10 days cooling period to review the plan details and rates.
