Not the best price compare to Aliexpress deal, still cheaper than the local shops and from Amazon, personally I feel safer buying from Amazon than aliexpress for that kind of money.

One thing, as noted to remember in this review. With a headphone like this, you need an amplifier too.
Love the reviews from these guys, but the Arya Stealth shouldn't be in that video. The Arya Stealth is in a completely different league, it's endgame material.
That inclusion was borne of a discussion on several boards, but also because it's the only other egg-shaped HIFIMAN with Stealth magnets that's remotely in the price range.
Assume you mean the Ananda? Which is fine for it to be in the review, like the Sandara. But the Arya Stealth is $2000, he did say some people in the forums wanted the comparison I guess and he did make the distinction that it is in a different league, which is important to note I feel and why I didn't think it belonged in a review with headphones in the $550 to $800 price range.
@ThatsCheap: No, the Arya Stealth is one of four HIFIMAN headphones using Stealth magnets:
- HE400SE
- Edition XS
- Arya Stealth
- Susvara
The 400SE is a different driver size and design, as is the Susvara, which retails for around $7000.
@ThatsCheap: Arya you say is in a different league, is that a better sounding league, worse sounding league or just a 'different sounding' league?
That deal is expired
It will come around again, roughly once a month or so, with a deeper discount at mid-year and 11.11/Black Friday.
The Aliexpress deal is expired but you can get it now for $610 AUD (incl. delivery, GST and AUD exchange fee). Apply seller discount of $13.25 and 5% Cashrewards cashback. Which is $60 cheaper than this deal that you can put towards a decent Amp / Dac. Yes with Aliexpress warranty claims, you have to send the item back to seller and Amazon often pays for return shipping so that could make this deal worth it, each to their own I guess.
How reliable is the Aliexpress return process?
This isn't claimable under warranty without shipping it back to the UK. If you want to roll the dice like that, you're better off buying from AliE during sales and cashbacks, where you'll net it for around $550 after all's said and done.
Here's a great technical review with good subjective coverage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiU4O0gHOcM
