Thanks dealbot for the head up.

No doubt this is a sellers invitation promo so the prices may have been adjusted to cover the sellers contribution.

DCXpert, Sydneymobiles, Sydneytex, Nofrills, Ninja.buy and Digidirect are among the eligible sellers.

This seems like a good price:

I was wondering why shopping expresses ebay prices on some things were through the roof…
    This sale explains it.

Same with Futu Online! Had items in the cart which went up by almost 30% overnight. Crooks!

  • Worth noting that if you have access to a 3% off eBay Gift Cards deal, that brings the price of the AG493UCX to $1190.75 which is $8.45 cheaper than what I think is the previous All time low here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/611923 (Correct me if I'm wrong).

However, that deal was during a time where you could claim a $100 Steam Gift Card with the purchase of the monitor, so technically this is still $91.55 more expensive if you factor that in.

  • Prices have already been jacked..

  • Single Breasted 2 Button Suit Jacket might be useful for anyone who is still working from home and has online meetings. Don't think I've seen a suit jacket at this price before…but I wouldn't expect great quality for $24.07 (after discount).

What job role would they expect you to wear a blazer for online meetings? Surely a business shirt or even a business branded polo for a online meeting would suffice

      • +2

I don't wear clothes for online meetings.

        • +1

Oh … that kind of meeting where everyone sits back and pay you to do all the work…

This is just greed by the sellers. If you can't afford to apply the discount with price jacking, then don't sign up for the promotion! Nobody is forcing them.

  • Don't need anything so haven't checked prices but this is why DCXpert is awesome they've never price jacked as far as I am aware so you're getting genuine deals.

DCX never invites Jack to these events. I commend them.

Yep it is the first place I look for Sigma lenses, usually when they have the 17-20% discount promos. My Paypal payment went to CR Kennedy who distributes the Sigma lenses, so I got the impression they are the same company. Which makes sense why they are cheaper than everyone else without needing to jack.

      • Yea it's definitely CR Kennedy I remember stumbling on some thread on Whirlpool a long time ago someone traced the IP or some crap back to CRK…that and the invoice you get is straight up CRK invoice haha.

Great for us obviously but I am surprised they don't get in trouble for the way they undercut retailers like that…picked up my Sigma 105mm f/1.4 during the last 22% sale it was great lol.

I I signed up to eBay plus for one month will the price reduce to 17% discount? ($288.01)?

Just wanted to check that the item will be eligible for 17% off before signing up? If someone who has eBay Plus can check it for me, I would be grateful.

    • +1

Yes it will be 17% when you have eBay plus.

  • Missed the 20% off last time and am wondering if there will be another round of 20% off soon.
