    • where do you get this from?

      • I got the knock off drum from Ali Express for around $50. Kinda kicking myself that I didn't get the Hori drum now, as the surface of the Dobe knockoff is too soft for a drum. The Hori goes for $150 on Amazon, which is ridiculous imo.

        • interesting…… so Hori make the official version for the game.

@kungfuman: Yeah, and it's really quite good in terms of sensitivity.

            About $100 from playasia, but $50 shipping…

            • @buckster: also gst on top of that now apparently

              • @kungfuman: Yeah, they're not cheap. I'm just going to wait until Amazon brings them down

    • I was just in the Philippines and picked up a Japanese boxed official Hori one there. It was $80, which looking at Amazon etc.. was a bargain :)

      • how big is it? it seems like something you can't fit in a suitcase.

        • It's not very big. The box itself isn't large at all, just 28cm x 25cm x 10cm. The same width, a little taller, but not as long as the box my Switch came in. It easily fit in my suitcase.

Still waiting for a deal on controllers :(

    • Same here.

    • Not sure if that will ever happen at this rate

    • +1

Yeah I waited awhile, your best bet is just to find one second hand off gumtree or FB marketplace,
I was able to score some for 75 SGD from Lazada Singapore as I'll be off to Singapore next week.

There's gonna be a new Taiko game this year so maybe deals will come when that gets released

  • I'm guessing the DLC is zoned? I have the Jap version of the game.

    • I have the US version. Only one way to find out…

    • I think you'll need the appropriate account to claim the DLC.. eg/ JP account to claim the JP DLC, US account to claim the US DLC.

It should still work with the game even if that's AU account.
(I have the digital version from AU account, pretty sure I was able to claim some of the prior free US DLC via a separate US account)

      Edit:
This post has a bit more info.. US seems to be ok with the EU (AU) stuff, but JP seems to be a bit different…
