While purchasing the Dewalt multi-tool listed on special earlier on the forums, i noticed a Dewalt angle grinder on special. It was out of stock at my store, but looking online reveals there is stock still around.
You might also be able to price match the item with this website - https://alliancehardware.com.au/dewalt-dcg406n-xj-18v-xr-li-… for a further 10%. I have not personally tried or seen anyone with evidence who has, but it could be worth a try.

It is also worth note that you can special order the DeWALT 18V 125mm XR Brushless Slide Angle Grinder without the paddle switch for $249 on bunnings online https://www.bunnings.com.au/dewalt-18v-125mm-xr-brushless-sl… . I don't know the inital price of this model, but the only difference between the two is the paddle switch so i would presume they are around the same value.

  This was $249 for ages about 12 months ago in a kit that come with a 5Ah battery and charger. I would wait if not desperate

    and on that deal page, someone said (roughly): I purchased a Dewalt 3 piece kit.. Hammer/Drill/Driver + Impact Driver + 125 Angle Grinder + 6AH + Charger for $250 2 years ago.

    the inflation is real.

    but yeah.. being ozb veteran I will wait as ordered

        Yeah i remember that, if i recall random bunnings stores were clearing out Dewalt gear on the cheap, eg chainsaw kits for $150. There was someone on here who went buying up a heap of it to on sell.

  Got the DCG414N-XJ 54V skin only from Bunnings for $179.10 last August.

    Yep, got that after price match.

    54V would not work on any 18V batteries.

    Otherwise this model is good enough to grind it.
