Missed out on the recent X55 Amazon deals. According the TP-link website there is no difference between X50 and X55 beside the colour on the lid: https://www.tp-link.com/au/compare/?typeId=5700&productIds=5…

Factor in 3 x UK to AU plug I reckon this is still a good deal.

You need the X60 AX3000 for iinett ultrafast 1000/40 plan for full speed, waiting for it to go on sale, have the deco M5 mesh and works great but only getting 500/40 or so.
Unless someone can tell me different I would get this deal.

I just signed up to 1000/50 with ABB.

Getting about 700/50 at router on phone.
But upstairs is only 450/50 - would x60 be the go? Currently using rt ax 86u but in corner of house downstairs.

That's interesting only getting 230mbit with my M5, even though I get t 850 via lan cable. Maybe I can get it working better

i think thats normal for wifi. I have 100/20 on ethernet but only half that under wifi, even if im standing right next to the router

  • How's this compared to the Netgear Orbi RBK50 from the deal not long ago?

  • Thanks OP just bought.

I recently put in UPS for all my modem/routers, I think this will really simplify my setup and for its size, I can now arrange all components out of sight.

Hopefully this is stable and smart enough in channel hopping so I don’t need to restart my network remotely every month.

  • Sorry, so how do we plug these things in, anyone have a link to good adapters?

  • anyone received their router pack yet?

hopefully I ain’t the only Aussie buying this stuff.

been shopping around Kmart for cheap wall mount alternatives.
