A really good budget dash cam on sale offering good specs for the price. While it's a couple of dollars more than this recent deal it's still really good value for the price if you're after one and there's the hardware kit bundle (for recording while parked) available for not much more. Comes in Black or Rose Gold.

It's the successor to the 70mai Dash Cam 1S which had a lower resolution and smaller FOV. This new version has 140 degree FOV and records up to 2304x1296@30fps.

It uses a 240mAh battery that may be a drawback for some due to our hot summers, however my 70mai cam is going 2 years strong with a battery. It can be paired with the 70mai app to update settings, playback and download footage.

You can checkout a comparison of the 70mai 1S vs M300 here.

  • I have the 1S, can't really make out what's on a number plate until about 3m away. Can't really complain for that price point either.

Given the 1S has a 2MP camera with 1080p resolution I think the M300 has addressed that issue for going 3MP with 2304p. Either way a dash cam is better than no dash cam :)

Good price. I've still got the original 70mai from a few years ago and it's still going great. May be a worthwhile upgrade at this price.

  • Anyone know how long the power cable is? Thinking of using as rear cam

  • Thanks I bought one, I hate my Navman 755
