Is $3 each. Same price at Woolies ($3 each) and you don't need to buy 12 packs that could be short dated….

and a reminder that every month the weight goes down.. its at 165 grams now

    • Yeah these are $3 at coles and woolworths at least one week every month. No point in having to buy 12 packs at once.

    • The one in the link says 12 x 1980g

  • sorry but i'm on a diet

Speaking of Sweet Chili & Sour Cream 165 gram packets, similar to that yesterday at Coles I found Thai Chilli & Lime with an expiry like in August 2022 (so plenty of time) they were in a trolley next to the discount area one was loose there were about twenty others in two boxes. I picked up the single one and it scanned at 40 cents!

I went back and found the two boxes gone - apparently they were 'staff purchases' and I feel that this is a common thing now, that if staff of Coles or Woolies find 'too good to be true' clearance on certain stock (either to save shelf space, discontinue, who the hell knows) they will reserve it or tape it with these red labels as 'staff purchase discounted stock'.

Kind of disappointing for those bargain hunters. Also really kicking myself I didn't just take the two boxes and scan them all - could have saved $50+

  • When did they go from 175 grams to 165 grams?
