I initially ordered this bundle from Ring AU for A$359. I then saw (usually the case) it offered cheaper on Amazon AU then cancelled the Ring AU order.

  • What are the best options for a doorbell without a subscription? Eufy? I've got the RIng with the Amazon Echo 5 and its not that good IMO. the Echo is very slow to load the camera feed

    • +1

Based on hours of reading last year, Eufy is the way to go if you don't want ongoing subscription cost.

  • -1

Eufy with dual cameras specially the wide angle camera for deliveries left on door is really good. Comes with base station aw well so u don't have to worry about subscription.

Not worth spending $300+ on Ring

    • Eufy for the win. Cheaper and no ongoing subscription fees as the footage is stored locally

    • I wouldn't trust Eufy security cameras as it's a Chinese owned subsidiary of Anker.

      • The only good product from Anker are their Powerbanks… thats it.

        • not even their anchors ?

      • +1

not sure i would trust channel news.
        does this make sense ?

Australian consumers who have contacted both ChannelNews and SmartHouse claim that they are angry that their life and the Australian economy have been disrupted by a Chinese born virus and many have said that they intend to stop buying Australian products.

  • Still don’t see HomeKit support!
