Hi. Unfortunately yes. I’ve used these codes myself in the past, and even though Menulog initially tracks the sale, they decline cashback at reconciliation time. Sorry :)

Even with Amex , it’s not much a deal due to delivery and service fees. Would rather choose pick up for Amex deal.
Filter for Free Delivery. That avoids service charge too.
100 days for the cashback to get approved, that is way slower than shopback!
Actually it's exactly the same - 75 days and 35 days for ANZ Max members (see here.) But remember that's only an 'estimated' approval date and Menulog generally approves way before then - in most cases within a few weeks.

@tightarse: They are for liquorland and first choice purchases. 100 days is ridiculous when shopback does it in 35 days!
@harthagan: This is a Menulog post, and I assumed your question was in relation to Menulog. However, thanks for flagging. I will arrange for our AM to contact Coles to find out why the estimated approval dates for these two stores differ, as they should be the same across all publishers. Also note that these two stores have a 14 day approval time for our ANZ Max members.
@tightarse: No problem. I didn't realise there were different approval times for different merchants. I just noticed today that all my recent transactions had 100 days on CR but I've only been using it for those 2 merchants recently so it makes sense now.

@harthagan: Update and great news… all Coles Liquor stores on Cashrewards now have a 35-day approval timeframe (14 days for Max). It's likely all your old purchases are now approved in your CR account.
Why does it take a few weeks isn't it computers?
Menulog prices seem to be more expensive than Doordash for some of the restaurants around me.
May I ask is it valid for the cashback for those offers inside app without code (e.g. 10% off from some restaurant, no code needs, discount applied at checkout automatically) ?

There was a new user promo "New customers take 50% off when you spend $30 Expires: Mar 28, 2022, 5:59:00 PM", even though this promo is finishing before the 50% cashback starts, the promo code it generated can be used within two weeks, my question is, can this code be staked with this offer?

Yeah that is 1 out of the 3 extra charges and in my experience only applies to a small (and often average) selection……still not worth it for me.

Just ordered, instantly got a confirmation email from AMEX. Actual cashback might take a few days to come in though, from past experience.

What the? Just about to order at 6pm and now the place is too far to deliver.
Has anyone noticed the delivery fee reduces as you increase your order? Some restaurants are showing as from $1.99 delivery fee but if I add only $10 item, it is $4.99 delivery fee but if I add another item and increase the order to $20, the delivery fee reduces to $1.99. This suggests that the delivery fee is obviously not a real delivery fee given that the address remains unchanged. Gave up ordering. Dodgy practices… and what is the reason for excluding pick up orders?
The more you order, the more profit for the restaurant so they can sacrifice/subsidise some of the delivery free
Everything so expensive and no free delivery in my area. Ordered a few essentials from the servo.. $23 for loaf of sourdough, 2L milk and a fruit salad and that was with 10% discount offer they are running. Decent after cashback I suppose.
Now let's hope it tracks..

Oh wow there is no delivery drivers so you end up waiting forever. Why would they do this promo for delivery only… Its already been 30 minutes and I still havent been assigned a driver. Its just crazy

Menulog is rubbish….
2 orders in the past week to take advantage of the cheddar/amex cash backs…..specifically selected places that stated under 30min to delivery.
First order took 75 minutes, this one is nearly up to an hour and still waiting for a driver. I guess the supply of suckers willing to work for 10 bucks an hour is running out.
Too bad they don't have access to some of the members on this site for labour .
I have never waited this long with the other delivery services but today waited over an hour for it to even change status from confirmed and then there was no tracking, just said “Enjoy your food”, I had no idea when it was going to show up

from memory, menulog almost tracks immediately, however still no tracking email after 3 hours.
Just checked and my purchase didn't track. It's in my click history so will have to wait 6 more days to make a claim.

@tightarse I assume the $5 daily coupon would invalidate the cashback? I believe those are unique, so wouldn't expect it to be listed on the cashrewards page.
