cheapest bin of b die atm? cant be certain considering how annoying it is to search it up but I think so.
preety terrible bin tbh, literally one of the worst b die bins but it is b die.
dont buy these unless you're going to oc, useless spending $60 more and running at xmp

4000 19-19-19-39 xmp

  • Cheapest for sticks rated @ 4000Mhz. Team have CL14 sticks rated @ 3200 and 3600 starting at a similar price here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/666041

    • that post doesnt include GST? $172 vs $152. better kit sure, but shipping and $20 more

  • Bought the same brand 4400c19 kit for few dollars cheaper on Amazon, might keep an eye on that.

ye i got the 4400c19 kit for $136 sometime last year. price has only gone up since then, doubt its gonna come down with them producing less ddr4

  • If you could get these down to CL16, these are really really good value, even if lowering the speed to 3800 and getting them to CL16 and lower, yeah that's good value, I don't think I'd keep them at stock 4000MT at CL19, I guess that's 'ok'.

      4000 c16 is easily doable
3800 c14 is also easily doable

      • Was a lot of work for me to end up at 3800c16. My OCed 10700k with 1.25V IO wouldn't even boot my Viper 4400 19-19-19-39 at stock. The best I could get was 3800 16-16-16-35 at 1.464V (pretty sure I set it to 1.5V in bios though). However my PC's had a month of straight uptime without any big errors.

        • i mean u just did it all wrong

          1. u oced cpu first then memory which destabilises your cpu
          2. you overspent on b die ram to get negligent performance gains over a 3200 c16 kit considering you didnt even spend the time to oc it
          3. bios voltage is always right, b die can do up to 1.9v daily, 1.7v daily for intel considering you will (profanity) blow your cpu up. although no one can realistically cool that
          4. you didnt even stress test your ram? i can run extremely unstable settings which neglect performance for a year but the second i stress test it, it will fail
          5. 1.5v without active cooling in what seems like a nice setup? lucky your trfc is untuned and loose

now you have unstable ram and cpu and worse performance than a 3200 c16 kit

    • These are b-die, I have them at 3866 Cas 16

Better binned kit (4000 @ 16-16-16-36) for about the same price off Amazon US including shipping and taxes. Works out to be around $149-150 but there's only a few left.

    • I'm so confused, is gst alr included or smn. Cause mine always says 10% more than what you all say. Either way. 150 or 164, I'd spend more for that kit. 4kc16 Is a very good kit for that price tbh

  • I have this kit, is b-die. I don't have the best mobo, but working at 3866, Cas 16 with decent timings.

    • 3866 is on ryzen? or which cpu

      • 5600x.
A year or 2 ago anything about 3600 was considered unlikely, seems to have changed in recent months, partially due to Agesa updates I think.

        • yes AGESA updates have helped, sometimes made it worse (lots of cases actually).

if ur still running this, id be interested if you could go to event viewer and check for WHEA-19 (99.99% chance your running with them)
if not and your intersted, you can run prime95 large ffts at the same time as OCCT vram test.

also can you run at 3800?
