She has made a lot of money and gets to retire on her own terms. Would have liked to see more of her. Nice to see an Australian Tennis player who is respectable role model. She wants to pursue other dreams and found it hard away from family.

Professional sports is hard and hardly anyone goes past 30-35 if they're anything conscious about health and how long humans live.
Also, it's tough missing out on everything in everyone's lives. I've done it for a year and I missed some big events (aka a funeral) that I can never get back.
