  • Who actually uses Airtasker?

    • what's wrong with it? I find it pretty competitive, tradies send your their quotes you don't have to actively seek them

      • Didn't say there was anything wrong with it. I just don't hear much of people using it.

We use it all the time for trades and the like - plumbing, elec, gardening etc. Totally over being ripped off by tradies who won’t even quote you without a callout fee. Airtasker fixes all of that.

      • I'm just over tradies in general.
        Money for nothing really.

  • For QLD and NSW only. Add in title.

    • See t&c. Only in eligible areas, specified in the Govt list of flood affected LGAs:
      NSW
      QLD

If in eligible area, seems you submit a task for approval.
If it is assessed as worthy, you receive email confirming level of credit up to $200.
(Tasks must be physical in-person services directly related to damage caused by floods as determined by Airtasker.)
Task doesn't get posted unless approved.
Then task must be completed & paid (partly with credit) within 30d.

Level of credit is up to airtasker, which might be small, with $200 likely for most expensive flood related tasks.

    In my case…
House is in listed eligible area, but was NOT FLOODED (on a hill).
Received rain damage to ceilings from enormous amount of rain & wind during flooding, some entering through tiled roof.
Could do with help with damage (cleaning & painting).
But don't think they will approve that task.
